Palmetto Dunes now has three premium courses - the Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront, the George Fazio and the Arthur Hills. They sold off the Palmetto Hall courses earlier this year to concentrate on the Palmetto Dunes operation. The Jones is one of just two on the island (the other being Harbourtown of Heritage fame in Sea Pines) with an ocean front hole. The Hills course is close enough for ocean breezes to be an issue, and has a quiet "clubby" atmosphere that makes you feel at home and not like you're on some resort treadmill. The Fazio course did have some conditioning problems in 2005 but it looks great now, and plays great too. LOVE those airconditioned golf carts! And if you get a chance to try the Segway, go for it - you won't be disappointed!
