Mauritius is surrounding by spell-binding blue ocean, a perfect haven for adventure seekers and scuba divers. The seas are warm and full of tropical, multi-colored fish jetting in and out of crevices in the coral reefs, moray eels that are delicate and agile as they swivel along the ocean shores and larger, plump fish that wander in schools waiting for their own ‘catches’ and nibbles of the day. From Port Louis, it is possible to rent or buy tickets to board submarines in order to see what the marine life is like deep below, without the complications and expense of a diving license.
