Once in Madrid, visit Madrid Information Tourist Office at Barajas Airport or in downtown (at Plaza Mayor, 27 or at Plaza de Colón). For general information, there is a very helpful Tourist information line. You only need to dial from any phone without charge 010 in Madrid, or from outside Madrid 91 540 40 40/ 91 540 40 10. It is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 9 pm.
