Once in Madrid, visit Madrid Information Tourist Office at Barajas Airport or in downtown (at Plaza Mayor, 27 or at Plaza de Colón). You will find leaflets, brochures and maps in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. It is open everyday from 9.30 am to 8.30 pm. You can call them at : 91 588 16 36 / 91 366 54 77
For general information, there is a very helpful Tourist information line. You only need to dial from any phone without charge 010 in Madrid, or from outside Madrid 91 540 40 40/ 91 540 40 10. It is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 9 pm.
