The U.S. Atlantic coast is braced for Tropical Storm Hanna. There is a hurricane watch in effect from Edisto Beach, South Carolina, to the North Carolina Outer Banks. Tropical storm alerts cover areas from Georgia to New Jersey. The center of the storm is expected to move close to the Carolina coast today, but Hanna's rains and wind will affect the coast well before the storm lands.

If you're planning on going to New York for most of your stay, I don't recommend this hotel. It is extremely inconvenient to travel to and from Manhattan in New York. There is a free shuttle service...more
