Everything you read in these reviews is true! Despina and her staff are friendly, kind, caring, and professional. They all want you to enjoy your visit and will do almost anything to make it enjoyable.
Despina and her family live on the premises, so they are available 24/7 if you need anything.

Despina designed the building, landscaping, and interiors herself, and they are beautifully detailed. She is very proud of her facility and her staff (who have been with her for years).

We stayed four nights in May, 2008, rented a car, explored the entire island. While crowds gathered in Oia to watch sunsets, we sat in front of Despina's infinity pool and enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine as the sun went down. Very romantic!

As someone else in these pages has said, do yourself a favor and stay at Anastasis Apartments.

Having enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Anastasis Apartments 2 years ago, we decided to return. We thought the place was wonderful on our first visit, and yet Despina and her team have managed to improve on it.

There is now a lovely lounge, with a selection books, and free internet access. A dvd player was available in the room and a variety of dvds available.

Snacks and drinks are available to order during the day delivered to your room or by the pool. You can also buy bottles of water to save having to carry them from the supermarket!

The apartments and grounds are kept spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble and the entire staff are considerate and helpful. Despina advised us on things to do that we may not have otherwise considered and gave us some great restaurant recommendations.

In summary, the Anastasis "experience" can not be beaten. If you want nighlife this isn't for you, but if you want to relax in fabulous surroundings whilst enjoying stunning views and sunsets then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The other reviews on TripAdvisor say it all. The staff are amazing, the rooms are beautiful, and the overall atmosphere is unforgetable. If you can get a reservation at this spectacular hotel then you should definitely do it.

If you are looking for a "happening", swinging kind of place, this is NOT the place for you. We traveled as a family of 4 (2 grown children) and absolutely fell in love with Anastasis. The view is breath taking, the rooms were lovely and everything was spotless! Despina (the owner) welcomes you with open arms and provides you with great advice and suggestions only a local can give you. The atmosphere is very serene and calm by design but the view from the pool (and every room) is hypnotic. This small hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Fera but it is right on the walking trail that connects Fera and Oia. We rented a car but actually walked a couple of times into Fera for shopping and meals. They say you should go to Oia for the sunsets but we enjoyed the same sunset from the hot tub sipping wine at Anastasis. There is a lovely breakfast served if you wish to pay extra. It was worth having a late breakfast on the balcony overlooking the Aegean (caldera). There are no other meals served (although you can get appetizers) or spa services but Victor is always around to provide you with a cool drink or put up the umbrella. I just needed to raise my head off the chaise and he was there to serve! There is ample parking at Anastasis which isn't true of every location. Can't wait to go back!
