Nice, quiet and low key property that really has not lost sight of the true spirit of Aloha. From the front desk staff, to the housekeepers and even other guests, everyone was really nice. We also stayed at another larger property earlier in the week and the bigger the property the snottier the people. This place has a small kitchenette, queen bed and deck. They provide you with actual beach towels and beach chairs. If you want to be by the BEST beach in Maui and stay at a quiet, peaceful place, the Mauian could be your best bet. The prices are great too!

I was pleasantly surprised by the tastefully appointed rooms, beach view, and freindly staff at the Mauian. Found this hotel on the web, but it looked better in person that it did on the website. No in-room T.V. made for a peaceful vacation. (There is one in the community room if you need your American Idol fix). Napili Bay is my new favorite Hawaiian beach. It has great snorkeling and nice soft sand. There were several families staying here, but it never felt crowded or noisy. I would definately stay here again!

This was our second visit to the timeless Mauian Hotel and the experience totally matched our anticipation.
40 rooms - ON THE BEACH - this place just couldn't be reproduced now even if you bought the entire state legislature. This is how the Hawaiian islands should be experienced. Great breakfast, the best beach, wonderful renovation with new bathrooms and kitchenettes. I'm sure they were expensive, but the new Temper-Pedic beds are supremely comfortable and were a great investment.
The kids enjoyed having the free WI-Fi available in the Ohana room for their "devices". Great customer service - I swear, Wilma and Nane are always there, and Joe lends a very hospitable presence to the resort. Mahalo to everyone for a terrific vacation. Next time we have to stay longer.

Need a place on Maui ? Mauian Motel on Napili Bay is great for the money. Newly renovated small suites with walk in showers new granite kitchens and appliances , new tempurpedic beds .$200 night peak season plus AAA discount 10% . Only downside is noise in lower units , would recomend second floor. Staff was friendly and helpful, nice coffee and fresh fruit , toast ect in morning., location is great on the beach, still some unrenovated units so make sure you get a renoed one. NO TVs or PHONES in room !!!
I found this a plus and did not miss it !!!!!
I will return next visit. Aloha
