Yes, how do you create a wonderful experience? Well, you have your guests arrive just as the sun is setting in Wailea. You build an arbor and cover it in flowering vines that release their scent just as evening comes. You create a winding path through ginger and banana trees and exotic flowers of every colour, that leads to the private entrance of your guest suites. Then you add plantation style furnishings, artwork, delightfully crisp bedding, a full fridge...and a view of the sunset, pool, and twinkling fairy lights.

When your guests arrive, they find the scented air is silky warm, the room inviting, the promise of an evening swim in the salt water pool enticing, the pleasures to come still as yet undiscovered...

My husband and I stayed here for 8 days and loved every moment! The grounds are wonderful, saline pool is awesome, room spotless (we stayed in the Makena room). The view from the lanai of the Makena room (upper floor) is amazing! Fridge was well-stocked with drinks, fruit, yogourt, bagels, bread, english muffins, muffins, jam, cream cheese. Plus there was a welcome basket with chocolates etc. Along with the gorgeous setting, we met some wonderful people and we would gather for our own "happy hour" by the pool. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Marc and Steve (and, of course Indy!). There is also a washer and dryer complete with laundry soap and bounce for guests to use, as well as boogie boards, snorkelling gear and coolers for day trips. There is not one bad thing to say about our stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back! Highly recommended!

The grounds and our room were both gorgeous! Our room had nice linens, a well laid out and appointed bathroom, a deck, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Breakfast goodies and coffee were provided. The pool was great. We also had access to a shared washer and dryer, this came in very handy. Linens were nice and unlike many B&Bs towels set in our hamper were replaced daily. We stayed right before Christmas and were delighted to find a decorated tree in our room. I would recommend the Pineapple Inn to anyone.

After reading all the great reviews about the Pineapple Inn on Trip Advisor, I had high expectations! I was very pleased that the Pineapple Inn met all of them and more!
We got there a bit early and our room wasn't ready but we we welcomed and allowed to leave our luggage and sit by the pool until the room was ready. The pool area is beautiful and very relaxing with the plants, trees and flowers. The whole area is beautifully landscaped. Our room was fantastic! Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and well appointed. The breakfast items in the refridgerator were perfect, it was so nice to be able to wake up when we wanted to and not have to get dressed and be social first thing in the morning! Steve and Mark were very friendly, helpful and attentive.
It was very nice to have the free laundry available, what a great convienience!
