Stayed here for 9 nights. Hotel was easy to find from web-site directions. Check in and check out was efficient. Room was large (particularly for this category of hotel). Huge comfy king size bed. There was no safe in the room but there are safety deposit boxes at the reception. Shower was warm and bathroom basic but functional. Fittings were not luxurious (and it is banded as a 2 star hotel) but were perfectly functional. The pool area was well maintained and fairly quiet for most of the trip. Great to be able to pick up a paper at the reception each day. There is a time share info centre but once you have said "no" I did not feel hassled by them at all. All the staff were professional and friendly. Plenty of parking spaces. We were at the front of the hotel (on the 6th floor) and could hear the karaoke from the nearby bar until gone 2am in the morning on one night! Overall a great hotel and fantastic value for money!

I stayed at this HI for 2 nights in mid-May 2008.

The employees were friendly, the check-in was swift, the lobby & decor is nice. It wasn't hard to find, very accessible. I was greeted as Priority Club, but unlike a previous review, I didn't receive any sort of welcome basket? I have never before.

The room was large but the bathroom definitely needs more lights and our bathroom door did not fit the hinges, which was really odd. I reported it on our way out and the front next looked shocked, so I assume they did not know about it.

We went to Universal the next day and it was not a chore to get there. There are restaraunts aplenty within walking distance (Olive Garden was our choice right up the street).

I did not try the breakfast, though it looked very good. I also did not try the pool, but I never heard anything from inside my room, so all good there. The room overall was quiet, the area seemed quiet. There is a convenience store across the street to grab a water & snacks.

Do beware of the timeshare pitch in the lobby, but the coupon bag was nice.

We paid $100/night total and you just can't beat that. Overall, it was a good 2 nights for a reasonable price in a safe area.

Nice clean room. Microwave, refregirator, Free internet in the lobby. Very nice pool with a water slide. Kids love it.
Free breakfast. Eggs, susage, bagels, cereals, juices, coffee. Very nice.
Friendly personal.

One negative: if your windows are looking towards main entrance, they also face clubs right across. You can hear loud music late at night, But if you spend all day at the Disney parks, you'll probably out quickly, and not hear anything.

This holiday inn was awesome! It was no waiting to check in, nice staff and a a goodie basket in my room since I am a rewards member!! I had a friend at the safari sheraton down the street and he hung out at our hotel more than his!! The rooms were spacious, clean, & updated. The pool area is beautiful. Complete with a waterfall and waterslide. The activity desk in the hotel was a big plus and Marion was awesome!! I will definitely be returning here!
