“Not bad, not great”

Hyatt Regency Century Plaza

Have you ever noticed, the higher the star ranking, the fewer the included services. This hotel is no exception. Parking is extra. Internet is extra. There are no coffee pots in the rooms. I'll give you a little secret---you can call and ask for one. It will come with 2 coffee pods and then you can buy more. For my $1000 3 night bill, I expect free coffee. I did not see a hair dryer in my room. Perhaps that is another appliance upon request.

My room had a nice balcony and view overlooking the pool. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

The mall is across the street and Rodeo drive appeared to be within walking distance on the map. Otherwise you will be driving to other destinations.

All in all, not great, but not bad. I really prefer more value for my $$$$$.

“Hyatt was great with some limitations”

Hyatt Regency Century Plaza

4 of 5 stars
Larkspur, California

Great hotel. Perfect location. Rooms recently updated with flat screen TV's and furnishings. Wired and wireless Internet for $9.95 a day. Must go to the Equinox behind the hotel for $20/day to work out. Valet parking was $31/day or a long walk to self park.

“Great hotel”

Hyatt Regency Century Plaza

Jun 18, 2008

This hotel was in a great location- close to Beverly Hills, UCLA, Santa Monica, etc. Self parking is a little far but $20 compared to $31 valet. Although, there are no in and out privileges. The outside of the hotel is not that spectacular but the rooms and hallways are almost comparable to a Grand Hyatt. Very nice and very clean. Each room has a balcony too. The ONLY downside was that I asked the front desk for a remote control (missing from the room) and never got one until I had to call again and the same happened when I asked for a toothbrush. Besides that, I would definitely stay here again.

“Nice hotel, good location, good price”

Hyatt Regency Century Plaza

Washington, DC

This is a well located, nice hotel with friendly staff. The room we stayed in was large and modern. The location is central and the price is very reasonable. We were able to walk to and from the mall which has a movie theatre and some nice shopping. I would stay here again.

“Valet parking disaster”

Room are great clean well appointed renovated.
Valet parking is great for $31.00 a day. Let me be clear I don't mind the charge. Some people are so shocked that hotels charge for parking. The valet attendants are lazy. Let me explain how it works. You call down x 2500 for your car. The valets get the car We never had an issue with getting our car. The probem occurs when you drop it off. The Valets never come over to your car they make you get out in the middle of the driveway. They never seem to move the car. The other cars try to squeeze by . This causes traffic jams for other guests as there are 750 room. I can't prove but there ws a slight dent on the driver door of my rental. Luckily I had the rental ins otherwise they would have charged my cc until i contacted my insurance at home.
