We were admittedly a bit worried about where we were headed as we drove through Desert Hot Springs and along some seemingly suburban streets, but the minute Cristina the owner opened the door to us we knew we were somewhere very special. The hotel was built in 1954 and has been beautifully restored by Cristina and Rhoni. The place is all crisp whites and cool greens and greys. We had been in Vegas for 4 days in a 3,000 room hotel so to stay somewhere so small and intimate with just 7 rooms was blissful. As we were there for 3 days midweek we were lucky to be the only people there and did nothing but soak in the spa, lounge by the pool or use the BBQ. Cristina (and Sage the dog!) where incredibly friendly, making us feel totally at home and welcome and doing way more then any host needed - Cristina's Caipirinhas poolside were a highlight. The treatments were amazing too. Ask for Art and you should pre-book. The cranio-sacral was unbelievable.

This was our first hot spring experience. It was not what we expected at first, but turned out to be wonderful.! This place is clean, peaceful and the the gals that run it are extremely great hostesses. We really loved Sage as she made us feel right at home. And the coffee cake is to die for.... !!!!
We will be going back as soon as we can.

This was the advice given to us when we booked our room at the Sagewater, "at any time you get in". Which we did (at 4 am) and boy was that sage advice (no pun intended). We slept so well here. A lovely place with lovely people running it.

This was our second year in a row staying at the Sagewater--all the way from Boston! The first night we were there, we got engaged! For us, the Sagewater Spa will always be a very special place. We love it so much that we will definitely be back again and again. We cannot say enough good things about the friendliness of Cris and Rhoni or the beautiful, laid-back atmosphere.
