“Do not go there!!!!!”

Myself and my partner have just returned from a 2 week all inclusive holiday. My partner had never been on a package holiday before, I was excited for us both getting away.

First impressions were ok. Our room was very dark, had no balcony only french door windows, the hallway light was not working and the fitting was lose and one had bare wires. The bathroom was not cleaned properly from the previous tennants, only our beds were made, we did not complain straight away as we thought they would see what looked like toothpaste smeard over the wall and blood spots on the wall of the shower and clean it off.

The food was ok but repetitive and you had to hang on to your plate and cutlery as the waiters would wip it away while you were still eating, Generally the staff were friendly, As for all-inclusive I don't think it is at this hotel. I was expecting three free bottles of water for the room for cleaning your teeth, but it was only by the glass at the bar you had to pay for bottled water , there is a so called mini bar in the room of soft drinks but they charge you for the drink, there is no signs warning of this

We arrived on the Thursday I asked for the light to be changed on the Saturday, by the Tuesday this still had not been done, buy this time other little problems had cropped up, We saw nails pertruding from a public step, very dangerous if you caught your foot, there were tiles lifting from the floor of the pool, and being restuck while the pool was still full of water, sharp wire holding the light fitting to the pool, an rusty metal steak from an old basket ball board by the pool. Our room was not touched on this day. We went to get a drink of Sprite in the top bar and the barman refused allthough there was sprite in the fridge, told us to go downstairs, to top it all my partner was ill.

My partner called the Travel Agents Office as it was our reps day off, The MD of the company came over, 6 other guests also had problems and issues, some more serious. We were offered a chat with the Manager to sort things out he was rude and didn't listen calling us liars shouting at the us and the MD Rep,

We moved to a different hotel, could have not stayed there another week. Please do not go there!!!!!

Hotel was quite pretty with an unusual set out, with plenty of teracing to sit around and enjoy the sun.
Nearly died when i saw the room,Very basic but couldn't expect much else for the holiday price, it was quite dark and dingy. Both my room and next doors had problems with plumbing, not sure if it's because we were on ground floor.
Food was average/edible.

Weather fantastic, hotel beach very poor.
Local entertainment was a walk to fantasi or a taxi/minibus to Naama bay or Sharm old town, budget about 3 for the round trip every night, naama has more going for it.

“Unbelievable, embaressing!”

I'm 21 and went with my gf in May 08.
I recently visited this hotel, and it was a disaster from day one!! I read these reviews before going and i honestly thought it was OAPs complaining.
Firstly our room had no balcony, no windows, a bare old brick wall behind our one inch thick mattress, the air conditioning controller was cellotaped to the wall and our toilet seat and shower was broken. I wasn't too woried about the room, because i didn't realise how much time i would spend in it!
The food was terrible, same every day and very little variety, also we had dirty plates and cups, and had to pay for orange juice.
There were hardly any sunbeds around the pool, and we had to get up at 7 in the morning to get some.
The beach was unbelievable, it must have been about 30 feet long, and covered in umbrellas, no room to sunbave or even breath! We paid for another beach for the whole time.
In the evening of the first night, i got very ill and took loads of tablets and eventually had to have an injection to stop me bein sick. Once i had stopped being sick, i then had diahorrea for the rest of the week, great!
The waiters and employees also forced themselves on my gf when i wasn't around.
Also one night i plucked the courage to go to Nama Bay, and left within one minute of being there, the egyptians just won't take no for an answer, and they get very aggressive if you don't go into their shop to 'sign their book', what a load of rubbish!!! You get horrible comments made at you, and get harrassed like mad!
Don't go there!!!!! I was shocked at how bad this hotel was, i could never see myself writing a review, but i simply had to.

“Loved Amar Sina”

We stayed at the Amar Sina for 10 days in March 08. Me - my friend and her two children (9 and 15 years old). we had the best holiday ever. The hotel was pretty and built to look traditional. The food was fine and the staff are absolutely brilliant - warm - helpful - friendly and playful - but always in an appropriate way, We had great fun chatting and laughing with the bar staff and some great volley ball games in the pool - often led by Abdo (the pool guide). the children were fussed over and as it was my friends birthday, we were offered a birthday cake (which cost her £12). However as the cake was brought into the bar - all the bar staff came upstairs singing arabic songs and insisting that we dance with them. This was brilliant fun and went on for about 20 minutes!! Can't praise the staff highly enough and we can't wait to go back next year!
