During the Sundowner Dune Dinner Safari, Ahmed the driver was very friendly! He also picked up 5 Japanese ladies. We were driven along the various highways. We stopped at the petrol station for a short break. We entered Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve for driving us over the rolling dunes! It was fun! And one of these Jeeps was stuck in the dune sand, but managed to escape!! Stopped off en route to see camels at rest and enjoyed the stunning desert sunset with the orange glow! Really wonderful!! We rode on the camels for a few minutes. We entered the traditional Bedouin encampment for the Arabian evening meal, watching the Belly Dancer! The men enjoyed the aromatic shisha (pipe). It was also a memorable evening! Go for it!!

this trip was absolutely fantastic. over the dunes, stop at a camel farm, meal and belly dancing, as well as a meal and drinks thrown in for good measure. the trip was booked through arabian adventures, most expensive, but well worth the money. JUST DO IT!

Do NOT take this tour if you are prone to motion sickness. The person who booked it for us did not mention this. The desert is beautiful but I was sick the entire time.

Along with the other great reviews of this experience, make sure that you get a good driver. We were on the tour with a few other cars, and 2 of them got stuck in the sand! Not ours...we had a good driver--we were the second car.

This activity is not for those with weak stomachs! I did feel a bit nauseous, but a bit of fresh air was all I needed to recover. Dinner was great! I thought that there would be a troupe of belly dancers, but there was only one. It was entertaining and she made the participants join in.
