My wife and I stayed at this hotel in mid Dec 07 on our first trip to Bangkok. We use HHonor points as I'm a Diamond member. Upon early arrival (around 9:00am), we were whisked away immediately by a dedicated HHonor staff for an early check-in (per my request when I booked the hotel) directly to our upgraded room on one of the Executive floors. There in our room, the same HHonor staff did our check-in paper work while we rested from a long flight. I've been in many hotels around the world and certainly this kind of service is like no others. Only other hotel in Asia that has similar service that I'd experienced is the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. The room was fantastic. We love the see through bathroom and the rain shower and tub. Our bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the Executive Lounge was amazing! There was quite a few selections. The staffs there were professional and very courteous. The nearest skytrain station is a little far for walking. Luckily, the hotel has a shuttle that goes there and back very frequently. It takes about 5 minutes. For our transportation to the airport, we made use of the hotel's Mercedez S550 for around $90. What amazed us was the fact that, as part of the service, the hotel has dedicated staffs at the airport waiting for us. When we arrived at the airport, a dedicated staff greeted us at curb side. He handled our baggages, took us to our airline and did the check-in for us. Finally, he accompanied us until we got pass immigration. I could not say more about the personal service provided by the hotel. It was truly first class. I would highly recommend it.
