Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok

We will officially make the Four Seasons Bangkok our official hotel on return trips to Thailand. Service was outstanding from the moment our S Class Mercedes picked us up at the airport. While everyone else was looking frantic while they tried to navigate BKK's airport transfers, ours was seamless. We were met by a Four Seasons rep who then had the Mercedes brought around. After 39 hours in transit, the fully adjustable seats, ice cold bottles of water, lemongrass scented cold towels and hard candies were truly appreciated.

Upon arrival, our bags were whisked away to our room while the front desk booked us for an immediate lunch at their Thai restaurant, Spice Market. We received several free appetizers and had the best seats in the house.

Our room was a deluxe view king, 7th floor, in a corner off of the courtyard. It was a beautiful room, nicely appointed, with a full tea selection, daily fresh fruit, and L'occitane products in the bath. It had a great view over the pool and plenty of space for living.

The staff was helpful no matter the time of day. We were often up at sunrise to explore the city and the front desk was always willing to exchange money and answer any questions we had about a certain sight or other matters.

Shintaro, the Japanese restaurant, brought us back again on this visit. The sashimi selection did not disappoint and still gets our vote as the best we've come across. Other meals, held poolside, were fantastic as well.

All gratuities are accounted for in your room rate. We found this to make for a more enjoyable experience without having to worry about who to tip, etc.

The early morning transit back to the airport was flawless. We will return again and again.

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok

5 of 5 stars

Four Seasons are second to none and the Bangkok property is no exception.

This hotel is great value for money if you can get a special rate. There are many 5-star properties in Bangkok so shop around for best rate on luxury rooms.

Staff is very friendly and service is prompt and efficient.

I had a minor problem at checkout as my breakfast was supposed to be included in the room rate. I had decided to take breakfast in the lobby lounge (as the buffet restaurant was closing up by the time I made it downstairs the first morning). I asked if this would be a problem and would be included in my package and was told by the waitress that it would be OK. Of course, on check-out there were the additional breakfast charges on the bill. I explained what I had been told and the charges were removed.

“Marvellous service at the Four Seasons”

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok

Jun 1, 2008

Stayed for the second time at the Four Seasons Bangkok and was again extremely impressed. The hotel is old, but wears it well, although some of the carpets could do with a replacement. Huge lobby, enormous numbers of staff darting about for you at all times of the day or night. Large rooms with huge beds, huge bathrooms and enormous flat-screen TV with attached DVD player.
Breakfast can be taken outside by the fish pools, which is a nice touch. The hotel itself is designed around open courtyards, which means that you open your room door, and you are already outside.
Only gripes are 1) to keep your room on your last day after 12:00 you are always charged a half-day rate and 2) the internet is incredibly expensive, at around 250 THB per hour or 700 THB per day. Pop across the road to the Siam Paragon (ground floor) for an internet cafe that charges 40 THB for 30 minutes, or try your luck with other hotels free wifi around the pool.
Note also that they are building new apartment blocks all around the hotel, so ask for a room facing the front to avoid the noise.

“Great service & amazing breakfast”

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok

I had a great time staying 3 nights at Four Seasons Bangkok. The hotel location was good few minutes walk from the skytrain. The area wasn't too busy or crazy for Bangkok. But still, the hotel was walking distance from shopping area and it was convenient.

The hotel service was excellent at check-in, afternoon tea and breakfast. Everyone was smiling and attentive. The room was roomy and very comfortable with a separate shower room and a huge bath tub in the bathroom.

Additionally, the hotel's breakfast buffet was amazing. Best buffet breakfast ever! The food was excellent, the selection of food was excellent, and the restaurant was roomy and nice as well.

I will definitely stay at the hotel again. Oh, the spa at the hotel was great too.

“Fantastic stay at Four Seasons”

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok

I stayed at the Four Seasons last week with my partner where he was holding a conference. This has to be one of the best hotels we've stayed in for service in Asia. The staff are wonderful - so friendly and helpful but in a genuine way. From the concierge to the maid coming to do the turn down service they provide an impeccable service.

We were lucky enough to get an upgrade - the rooms are incredibly spacious with a lovely walk in closet and huge bathroom! The gym and changing area with steam room is great. The staff pass you a cold bottle of water as you step off your machine and immediately you're offered a fresh fruit juice. The pool area is lovely too but unfortunately there is some construction going on nearby which can be very noisy, so if you're planning lots of pool time, take this into consideration when booking this hotel at the moment.

The hotel is also well located for the train and the huge shopping complexes nearby of Central World, Siam Paragon and Siam Discovery. Overall the entire conference party were really impressed with this hotel - we'll definately go back if we're in Bangkok!
