OK, maybe I do most of my business travel in more pedestrian hotels, but Wow! The service just blew me away. I had happened to drop a frequent flyer card in transit and they ran it up to me within a couple of minutes after I'd lost it. There was almost offense taken if you tried to do anything by yourself that they could help with. Everything about the service was fabulous.

If there was a negative, it was the bar prices, they were unconscionable given the prevailing rates. The restaurants seemed to be a pretty decent option and for dim sum on Sunday were packed to the gills, I wasn't able to get a table.

The room was excellent -- large shower, separate bath, great bed, an AC that you could flash freeze produce with, reasonable mini-bar prices. All in all, the JW Marriott was more than I ever suspected.

I highly enjoyed my stay at the JW Marriott Bangkok. The room was elegant, clean and spacious, delightful The bed was comfortable. Service was phenomenal. The gym was fine - new equiptment although not a lot of it. The pool was beautiful. The hotel common spaces are elegant and beautifully decorated. I have nothing to complain about at all.

We stayed at the JW Marriott for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon in December last year. We thought the staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful - check in was easy and hassle free. Best part of the hotel is the convenience. It is located close to the skytrain - which we took everywhere.
The concierge helped us organise our activities for the day and booked us into a show and gave us great directions on how to get there (we wanted to brave the skytrain and MRT instead).
The room was lovely and clean and we were given fresh fruit and water each day.
The gym, day spa and pool are great. The pool area is not huge but we only went early in the mornings and always had it to ourselves.
We bought some cereal at a local convenience store and had that for breakfast each day instead of getting room service or going to the restaurants (cheap skates I know). We did, however, go to the Thai restaurant in the hotel one night and it was fantastic. The food was great - expensive for Thai food but you are in a 5 star hotel so of course it is.
It is directly across the road from a Haagen Daaz which we visited very frequently!
All up, we thought it wasn't the most luxurious hotel we have ever stayed in but for the location, we would definitely stay again.

Checked in Dec 30 for a 3-night stay. Hotel was fully booked, so coundn't get twin bed, non-smoking room, as reserved. Had to change room the next day.
Great location in the Sukhumvit area.
Friendly front desk staff, excellent concierge.
Rooms are as expected with JW: very nice and clean.
