“Yuck, Yuck, Yuck!”

Disneyland is supposed to be fun and it is if you don't stay at this La Quinta.

This is an older hotel that is showing its age. Things are worn out and patched.

The hotel lobby is outside of the hotel. The elevators are outside as well. If you needed to go to the office during the night you would have to dress completely including a jacket.

They offer an expanded buffet breakfast including eggs and fresh fruit. If you consider opening a fresh can of fruit every morning to be fresh fruit then this is the place for you! Eggs are offered every second or third day depending on who tells you what.

The room is minimally acceptable. The family suite has a separate room for the children but the refrigerator and microwave are in there. The desk and internet access is also in there. Why?????

There is lots of unused space in the main room where the frig, micro and desk could be located.

When we checked in my son went to wash his hands and cried because the water was hot. It took a day or so for me to discover that the faucets were backwards and that he wasn't doing anything wrong. The hotel was slow in sending someone to fix this and they wanted to know how the faucets could be backwards like I would know or I switched them somehow. If our faucet was backwards then others in the hotel probably are too but why would they check?

I was happier to check out than when we checked in. Motel 6 and breakfast at Mickey D's would have been better.

Everything was great. We stayed in a King suite, with a sofa sleeper. After going to disneyland, we returned to the room and ordered pizza and it was nice to have a sitting area to eat -- not on the bed. Fridge and microwave were nice for leftover pizza. The place was incredibly clean and the bed was pretty comforable. The sliding door with curtain made it possible for us to watch different TV shows at the same time without bothering the other. We were able to purchase Disney tickets as well as the $3 shuttle pass right at the front desk. Very convenient.

We would stay here again!

“Great Stay”

We stayed here this past Thursday for one night. And we loved it!! I was worried after reading the last reviews, but I think they must have been staying at a different place. When we checked in we received a very friendly and helpful desk. We had the King suite and had soooooooo much room. I went with my two youngest children ( 2 & 4) and they were able to spread out and not feel as if they were stuck in a room. I even ended up sleeping on the couch because of a coughing child, and it was very comfortable. The breakfast wasn't fancy but it was free and plenty. We had the choice of biscuits and gravy, pancakes (yes they were frozen ones, but they tasted fine), cereal, rolls and drinks. My kids and myself left satisfied enough to go to DLand and not need to eat for quite awhile. Maybe we're not too picky but I felt safe, comfortable and very happy with our choice to stay here. Would we stay here again.....you better believe it and we are looking forward to it.

“La Ghetto”

La Quinta Inn and Suites Anaheim/Disneyland

Don't be fool by the 5 stars people have given this hotel in the past. La Quinta IS "La Ghetto!!!!!!" My sister us booked a vacation package for Thanksgiving which included Disney 3-day park hopper tickets. She booked what was supposed to be a 2 bedroom suite. If anyone knows anything about a suite you know that it comes with a "living room" area, a kitchen or kitchenette, in addition to a larger bedroom and bathroom.

Now let me tell you, on the website, the rooms "look" nice because they only took pictures of the beds only. You don't see the room. IT IS NOT A TWO BEDROOM SUITE.! IT IS LITERALLY ONE LARGE ROOM DIVIDED BY A PARTION --TO BE EXACT, A CURTAIN AND A BROKEN SLIDING/WOODEN GLASS DOOR OF SOME SORT!!!! There WAS NO SITTING AREA, unless you count the children's table that was only big enough for toddlers. See we got the room that had 1 queen bed and the other room had bunk beds. So let me tell you, the room was so small it was only big enough for the bed!!! That is why you only get a picture of the beds!!!!

We knew the room was BOOTLEG & LOW BUDGET because instead of the sink being in the bathroom where it belongs, it was in the BEDROOM!!!! And this sink was apart of a long counter that housed the TV set as well! And our so called kitchen was no more than a small square refrigerator and a microwave in the kid’s room!!!!! Only big enough to put 1 to go box. But this is not was killed it. Besides having only one closet on the queen bedroom side (I guess both "rooms" were suppose to share that one closet), there were community bathrooms on every floor! What 5 star hotel has this???!!! And they had the nerve to charge $10 a day for parking! And the parking lot was so cramped, you had to do a 3-point turn just to get out of your parking space!!!

But this is what killed it, the vacation package came with breakfast which was a nightmare. I am talking about frozen apples and pears, dry cereal, bread and an egg patty!!! What in the hell are you suppose to do with that! And then they have the nerve to have the elevator have key card only access, as if they were some fancy hotel! It's was all very deceiving! When you walk into the lobby of the La Quinta, you see marbel floors, a nice sitting area and a plasa tv on the wall. You would think you are about to stay in a very nice hotel, until you get to your room! Literally leaving the lobby to go to your room is like going from Beverly Hills to the Projects!

So, overall HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!! You will do better at Motel 6. It is false advertisement!! PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM LA QUINTA, BECAUSE IT TRULY IS LA GHETTO!!!!!
