Booked this hotel through Trailfinders after reading the good reviews on Trip Advisor.

Was very impressed with the location, being only a short walk to Circular Quay, The Opera House and The Harbour Bridge.

We wallked most nights to Darling Harbour which we found better than Circular Quay and The Rocks. It was a little bit further but the weather was nice so we didnt mind.

Staff were very helpful and the room service was excellent for ordering food and for making your room every day.

The Rooms were modern, very clean and very comfortable giving that home from home feeling.

We stayed on the top floor and had a balcony where the sun came shining through the room at around 4pm each day which was nice.

Make sure you go across the road on a Friday to the Square. It is very busy and the atmosphere is brilliant where Sydney office people start their weekend.

In the same square the tall building contains one of Sydney's best restaurants. THE SUMMIT ! You will need to book though as it is always booked up on weekends. Its a 360 degree revolving restaurant and the food and views all accross Sydney are excellent.

I would recommend the Raddison to everyone.

We had a good room with a glimpse of the Bridge. Well thought out room. Impeccable service. Excellent food from Bar or Restaurant. Brilliant value. Only one criticism: the so-called Business Centre a disgrace - expensive compared with Dubai or Bangkok, internet cut off without warning, ludicrously short opening hours.

We got a great price when booking the Radisson in Sydney, we booked on lastminute.com.au and stayed at the Radisson for 4 nights upon arrival in Australia. The hotel is located within walking distance to the main shopping areas. A walk to Darling Harbour takes about 15 minutes. We got a fabulous room with a huge bathroom (walk in shower and big bath). We had room service in the middle of the night (jetlag...) and the service and food was great. The internet only cost 18 Aussie dollars for 24 hours which isn't bad when you compare it to other hotels in Sydney. For breakfast we walked a few minutes to the nearby restaurants and cafes. In general, we had a great stay at this hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

I've just returned from a rare, very much anticipated long weekend in Sydney with my sister, and am now looking forward to a good night's sleep! We booked the Radisson after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, and were hoping for a bit of luxury to spoil ourselves. Instead, we got a very average room (okay, we booked on Wotif, but even so). We had booked two single beds, but basically got a king bed that had been split in two but both sides were still right next to each other (I mean literally, about half a centimetre gap) - not ideal at all. The beds were peculiarly made with thin mattresses on top of other enormous mattresses, with sheets that didn't tuck in properly and it all just kept sliding off and coming untucked. There were two odd bedside lamps hanging right down from the ceiling at head height, so every time we got out of bed or sat up we banged our heads. We didn't even get saucers to go with our cups. Our bath plug leaked, and our lamp wasn't working (to be fair, they did fix the lamp as soon as we told them about it). The swimming pool was average (the pictures do it a lot of favours), the steam room smelt horrible, and the spa was tiny and closed for maintenance. The whole hotel felt like a bolthole for airline staff and for corporate conferences.
Good points: great location, beautiful building (on the outside only, at least in our experience), staff quite helpful.
Bad points: completely unrestful.
What a waste of a holiday! Sydney was fun though.
