I had procrastinated planning our France trip and couldn't find a reasonable price hotel and decided to stay at a B&B instead. We got into Paris early in the morning and had booked a car through Viator (suggest to read all comments on Viator website before booking any trips with them because we had good and bad experiences booking services and trips with them) at the airport and since the B&B is in the suburban area, the driver had a bit of a hard time finding it even with a GPS.
However, we were delighted to find Marie with our room ready and she had even offered us cookies and coffee for refreshment. She then gave us information on Paris and maps with local entertainment guide that described each must-see neighborhood. Our room is very modern with flat screen TV and a separate toilet and bath so it was easier for my husband and I to get ready in the morning. Our bed is super comfortable with softest sheets.
Every night - Marie left us a small board at our front door asking us when do we want to have breakfast the next morning which had the freshest bread and fruits from the local market along with fruit juices, tea and coffee. We had originally asked for eggs and even though Marie do not serve them, she went out of her way to get them for us and let us cooked them in the kitchen. She is also very thoughtful too because we had to leave at the crack of dawn one morning for a day trip and the local markets are not open yet. She had prepared crackers, cheese and yogurt for us so we wouldn't starve. She have got to be the nicest hostess in Paris.
The B&B is a bit out of the way to the city center. The nearest train station is about 5-6 blocks and it took us 30 minutes to most places in the city. It is in the suburban area without that much restaurant so I would suggest to have your meals before coming back to the hotel even though you can store your water, fruits...etc in the refrigerator. There is a bus station nearby that Marie had recommended that took us directly to Notre Dame and it was a really good scenic ride to go through the local streets.
I would definitely come back to La Villa the next time I go to Paris for vacation.
