Took my wife to stay here for a surprise 30th birthday present. Very much agree with what’s already been said in the other reviews: comfortable bed, clean, stylish décor, delicious breakfast etc. We stayed in the Champs Elysees room and enjoyed having such a large and luxurious bathroom, with a really powerful shower and a jacuzzi bath. Marie is the perfect hostess: charming, friendly and helpful. She was happy to chat to us each morning about places to visit and also recommend and book restaurants for us (which were excellent). La Villa Paris is about a 15 min walk from the nearest metro station, however we didn’t find this too much of an issue as the neighbourhood you walk through feels quite safe. There is also a bike station right outside if you’re happy to cycle. Only problem we experienced was on the first night when the air conditioning kept making a strange buzzing noise which kept us awake even after we’d switched it off, but Marie got this sorted the following day, and agreed to give us a discount because of this. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic long weekend in Paris – we’d definitely like to return for another stay.

“It's one of the best bed and breakfast we ever stayed in!”

La Villa Paris

Jul 4, 2008

I had procrastinated planning our France trip and couldn't find a reasonable price hotel and decided to stay at a B&B instead. We got into Paris early in the morning and had booked a car through Viator (suggest to read all comments on Viator website before booking any trips with them because we had good and bad experiences booking services and trips with them) at the airport and since the B&B is in the suburban area, the driver had a bit of a hard time finding it even with a GPS.

However, we were delighted to find Marie with our room ready and she had even offered us cookies and coffee for refreshment. She then gave us information on Paris and maps with local entertainment guide that described each must-see neighborhood. Our room is very modern with flat screen TV and a separate toilet and bath so it was easier for my husband and I to get ready in the morning. Our bed is super comfortable with softest sheets.

Every night - Marie left us a small board at our front door asking us when do we want to have breakfast the next morning which had the freshest bread and fruits from the local market along with fruit juices, tea and coffee. We had originally asked for eggs and even though Marie do not serve them, she went out of her way to get them for us and let us cooked them in the kitchen. She is also very thoughtful too because we had to leave at the crack of dawn one morning for a day trip and the local markets are not open yet. She had prepared crackers, cheese and yogurt for us so we wouldn't starve. She have got to be the nicest hostess in Paris.

The B&B is a bit out of the way to the city center. The nearest train station is about 5-6 blocks and it took us 30 minutes to most places in the city. It is in the suburban area without that much restaurant so I would suggest to have your meals before coming back to the hotel even though you can store your water, fruits...etc in the refrigerator. There is a bus station nearby that Marie had recommended that took us directly to Notre Dame and it was a really good scenic ride to go through the local streets.

I would definitely come back to La Villa the next time I go to Paris for vacation.

We just loved La Villa Paris. Marie made us feel very welcome. Having not been to Paris before we didn't have a clue how to get around but Marie told us how to get around on the buses, Metro etc. Our room was brilliant, very clean and modern. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. We can honestly say this was one of the best ones we have stayed in.

“Perfect B&B”

La Villa Paris

London, England.

We stayed for 3 nights at La Villa Paris over the late May Bank Holiday and had a wonderful time.
The rooms are beautifully decorated, very contemporary yet still French. We stayed in the Opera which had a huge comfy bed and a small, but gorgeous bathroom, with a very powerful hot shower. Nice fluffy towels and crisp white linen, little chocolates left on the on the bed, so many small details that really make a difference.
As people have said, Marie is very friendly, helpful and accommodating and serves the most delightful continental breakfast – croissants, fresh bread, cheese & ham, freshly made Jams, cereals & fruit, juice, tea and coffee – delicious. Nothing is too much trouble.
A short walk from Cite Universitaire (RER), as well as a short walk in the other direction to Place D’Italie (Metro), and once you are on either it is only about 10 minutes into the Heart of the City.
If you don’t mind being that little bit away from it all, then I would definitely recommend staying here.
