I research hotels alot before I travel, and this one was almost as presented by others. The check in staff were friendly, even though they tried to charge me for a cot that was supposed to be free. The room was very nicely laid out and appointed. Its easy to fill the full size fridge from the corner grocery store to save money. Tip for parents...get the one bedroom suite, its worth it! My one gripe was the room could have been a bit cleaner. It looked clean initially, but upon closer inspection it needed a little more sprucing up. Candy wrappers in the pull out bed, and black finger prints on the white door. Nothing major, but just a little let down. The pool was smallish, but my kids loved it. It was usually empty except for us. The exercise room was very new, and had some nice equipment. The internet access room needed more terminals as it was usually busy. Free breakfast was great ,as there was a variety of food. The line varied upon our breakfast arrival time from deserted, to extremely crowded. Overall, I liked the great attitude of the staff and you can't beat the location. I walked with 2 young kids to the CN tower, the Centre Island Ferry and other attractions. (Bring a stroller though for younger kids, as the blocks are too long for them). I would stay here again, though this place does not have the upscale feel ot the Soho Metropolitan, just down the street. (Its much more expensive though)
