Stayed in room #509. Good size, comfy room. Everything in working condition. Good selection of buffet breakfast (although not included in room rate), very friendly restaurant staff. Located in Downtown Yonge but without the noise. Walking distance from Eaton Centre, cafes/ coffee shops/ restaurants, shoppers drug mart. Taxis readily available just outside the hotel lobby. Friendly and helpful staff at the tourism counter (thanks Jennifer!). Within the route of one of hop on-hop off tour bus service. Definitely will come back here!

We spent three nights at this hotel visiting family, Niagara Falls, and CN Tower from June 30th through July 3rd. The rooms were huge which was unusual for a Courtyard and were also clean and nice. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathrooms were also very clean and great water pressure. Staff were very couteous and helpful with giving us connecting rooms on a higher floors - I think being a Marriott Rewards Member definitely was a plus. They have a great buffet breakfast with pastries, omelettes, cereal, etc. It was a great start to our two week vacation on the East Coast and we would definitely stay here again if visiting Toronto. This hotel is located in a perfect location and within walking distance to restaurants and Eaton Center. We also got a great AAA rate through the hotel. Great stay.

Stayed there during an event at the Metro Convention Centre. The location of hotel is very convenient, it is a few minutes walk from College TTC station in the busy downtown shopping district. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and large, with a tidy service. The only problem was that one of the elevators was broken, so you had to wait until forever for a ride. Hope that they will fix it.
Compared to a few other hotels in the area, e.g. Delta Chelsea or Holiday Inn, where my friends stayed, the hotel offers better rates and apparently better service including breakfast.

Landed at the Marriott Courtyard for six nights in July 08 and must say that I was pleasantly impressed; I'd heard mixed reviews from online sites.

Gay travelers take note: this hotel is 2 blocks from Toronto's bustling "gay village" with nightlife and restaurants galore in the area. Close enough that one can party, but far enough that one does not have to deal with the noise.

Walkers take note, there are lovely neighborhoods for strolling safely!

Room was very spacious; desk clerk was gracious and put me on the 17th floor (top floor of the South Tower) with a north facing city view that was delightful. While furnishings were fairly standard for a mid-price hotel, it was all very clean. Housekeeping staff were very helpful and always handled an early make up on the room for me. I found the wireless internet slow, but the hi-speed was perfect -- and FREE! there is also a free laundry facility in the building as well as gym, pool, etc.

Tourist information was available in the lobby (there's a booking agent for tours of the harbour and city) with helpful tips on buying daily/weekly passes for the mass transit that allow unlimiteed use of Toronto's very clean and user friendly subways and streetcars.

Hotel buffet breakfast was ample; eggs/omelets cooked to order (including egg whites for those interested). Is it the best buffet ever? No. Can you get a meal at a reasonable price with friendly service? Definitely.

All in all, this was a good choice with most accomodating staff who offered good directions and suggestions.
