We just returned from a 6 night stay at Alpine Village in a deluxe suite cabin. This was our second visit. Last year we stayed 3 nights and it was not nearly enough. The place is absolutely wonderful. Very Very Clean. The staff is extremely helpful in things to do, restaurants to eat at, and where to view wildlife. Thanks Christine for the bear location. We already made our reservations for next year. Our favorite place, and we travel about 5 weeks a year. This place is truly a hidden gem. Thank you Alpine Village.

Hi Trina & David,

I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and I'm so glad that my animal "super powers" were on so that you could see the bears! Loved the video!

Look forward to welcoming you again next year and wish you all the best this winter.

Take care,
Christine

Spent four nights in a deluxe suite recently and have to say this was my favourite place in our whole of Rockies/Vancouver trip. All the cabins/suites are in a wonderful setting with forest behind and great views along the Athabasca river just opposite the village. Originally booked this because of all the brilliant reviews it receives and wasn't disappointed.
There is only one small improvement I would make. The suites don't have full kitchens, just a convenience area with fridge, microwave and coffee maker, would also have been nice to have a few basic pieces of crockery and cutlery like we had elsewhere with a similar set up. Apart from that I would say it was perfect.

I originally had a reservation at the Fairmont Jasper but canceled it
after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. Boy am I glad I did!

Alpine Village is an absolute jewel. The service is friendly and personable. The room that my wife and shared was their smallest cabin
with a shared wall. Think duplex.

I was initially worried about noise and comfort, as this a appeared to be a "value" priced property. No worries! Reality proved the room to be small and extremely comfortable and well designed.

Housekeeping was superb! The bathroom was spotless and like new. No mold or mustiness (like my experience at two Fairmont locations).

The bed was perfectly comfortable, with thick feather pillows and a cozy down comforter. I purposely left off the heat at night and we awoke toasty warm and refreshed.

Noise was non existent, we never heard our neighbors and easily slept
late (too late).

This is an awesome value, and our stay here the highlight of our week
long Canadian vacation. I can recommend it and you will love it!

They book up fast so be sure to reserve early. Try to get a single cabin with a fireplace.

Oh, and in walking distance is a delicious restaurant at the Tenaya Lodge. You might see an elk on the way there, we did!

We stayed in a Heritage Sleeping Cabin (a split cabin). It had two Queen beds, small table and two chairs. The bathroom looked brand new. Everything neat as a pin.

Small porch with two chairs, perfect for sitting out in the evening. Loved everything about it.

I don't want to repeat everyone else's comments but will add a few things.

The split cabins are separated by a cinder block wall, so no noise. Everyone talks about Maligne Lake, but don't pass by the Canyon on the way there. Worth the visit and short walk.

The town of Jasper is very cute and much nicer then Banff.

The front desk can direct you to a laundramat in town. It's on Patricia Street and it's a combo, laundry, internet/coffee bar. Two Canadian dollars buys you 20 minutes on the internet. Washers cost $4 CAD.

Others have talked about getting reservations early (we got ours in Jan for a Sept stay) while we were there, we heard two different calls come in for this Thanksgiving (sold out) and then the callers asked about next year! Reserve early, you won't regret it.

We stayed for 3 nights on a flying trip to the Rockies due to a family wedding and we loved this place! We were in a small and very cute sleeping cabin (number 6). Extremely clean and just the perfect size for the 2 of us. We loved wandering across the road at night to sit and watch the rafters go by - hugely relaxing. Only a short drive into Jasper so in our opinion an ideal location.

All the staff were helpful but Kevin particularly stood out. Nothing was too much trouble, from ordering us pizza's to booking horse riding!

The only tiny improvement they could make would be to supply some BBQ utensils in the cabins (maybe it was just ours that didn't have any). We coped by improvising with twigs but utensils would have been handy!

Jasper National Park itself is just simply gorgeous. The drive from Banff to Jasper is wonderful. An amazing trip - would love to head back.

I was delighted to read your review on our property! I'm glad that you enjoyed your cabin and stay with us at Alpine Village.

We would have been happy to provide you with BBQ utensils but I love that you were able to improvise with what Mother Nature has to offer!

I hope that you have the opportunity to visit us again in the future.

Sincerely,
Christine Sweet
