The staff made you feel so welcome, Our stay at the Palms Resort was much more than we expected. I would recomend that The Plams Resort is the Only Hotel where you should stay

We booked this resort once we arrived in Negril and were sadly disappointed at another resort. The Palms came recommended by 2 locals and we found out it was recently purchased and being renovated by the new owners.

We were not disappointed. Although still in renovations (May, 2008), it did not interrupt our vacation of 7 days. The room was great! It had a modern feel, but felt very local to the area. It is a small resort, but we very much liked that. We truly felt we were the only 2 persons there!

We tried many restaurants on the beach and in town, and the one at the hotel had the best food of all the ones we tried. The chef is amazing and the prices are very reasonable.

The best aspect about the resort was the staff. From the bartenders (Leroy) and wait staff (Shannon) to the Managers (Garth), to the owners, everyone made you feel very welcome and would accommodate anything you needed. They were extremely friendly and welcoming.

If you are looking for a great experience in Negril, this is the resort.

I spent 11 days over there enjoyng the peace of this small hotel where everyone is friendly and looks after you.

It was my first trip to Jamaica but my girlfriend has gone there practically every year as she's got family there. To start with we were dubious, we had thought we had booked at a different hotel and then were unable to find any pictures of this one, add to this that we arrived when there was a power cut to the whole of Negril so were unable to see a lot that first night, however the room looked quite pleasant and the staff seemed quite helpful.
The next morning we got up and went to breakfast, wow! After walking along a palm tree lined walkway we got the restaurant area, the eating area was almost on the beach with the most amazing blue sea and white sand backdrop. From this point on i could not stop smiling.
Everyone from the hotel owners to the bar staff to the chef to the gardener was extremely friendly and sociable, it felt as if we were the only guests staying there!
The food was amazing, doesn't matter what you prefer, i went there a confirmed fish hater, within days i was eating salt fish and king fish! We had a romantic dinner one night, eating on the deck as the sun went down. the chef cooked us his favorite fish dish that was not even on the menu!
The bar was nice and cosy with some smooth reggae playing, perfect for chilling out and watching the world go by.
As a mentioned earlier the location is perfect, you walk along the beach to all of the other bars and restaurants and you can get access to any water sports within meters of the hotel.
For our holiday we decided to spent the second week in Montego Bay, if only the second hotel was even slightly like The Palms Resort!
We will definitely be going back again and next time we're staying there for both weeks!
