This is a definite find! The four of us had dinner there last night. A small restaurant with not much ambiance, but the food is wonderful! The crispy duck, chicken parmesan, fillet special steak, and the butternut squash soup de jour was the best. The side orders of polenta and veggies were good too. For dessert we had the chocolate... more
Our party of 7 landed here on a busy Thursday evening with no problems. Reservations can be done online or via the phone. They use a callback system for reservations. The wait staff is young but we found them quite attentive. Bread is brought to the table almost immediately and there is a reasonable selection of wines by the glass.... more
Get a big bang for your dollar at this great place near the Sanbusco shopping area. A good walk from anywhere around the plaza to enjoy a restaurant where great food is important and service is king. more
I hadn't been to Andiamo for several months and was happy to indulge after eating party food for the past month. My dining partner and I decided to eat early, in order to get back home and watch the results of the Iowa caucuses. When we arrived at 6pm, there were only 2 out of about 12 tables seated. Our Inn recommended Andiamo and were were not disappointed. Reservations are recommended and we had to wait approximately 15 minutes beyond our reservation time. The atmosphere is casual and festive and the tables are close together. I ate a delicious salad (with pears) and split the chicken parmiagana with my dining companion. The food was not oversalted, delicious and the... more

We are not finicky folks but found the service was poor, no greeting, lots of very young folks running around with no tableside manner and the seating was packed in pretty tight (though... more
In a city of great restaurants, it would be hard to beat this affordable Italian Bistro. We spent a total of 4 weeks in Santa Fe over the past few months, in the process of buying a house. Despite the availability of so many restaurants, we kept coming back to Andiamo. The regular menu has great variety, but oh those... more
I just want to add that after a year since the last review, Andiamo is still outstanding. This was the choice of a friend who came up to visit from Albuquerque while I was at a meeting in Santa Fe. He'd heard of their great wine list and wanted to try it. All five of us were pleased with the... more
My personal favorite restaurant in Santa Fe. Located in a victorian style home off Guadalupe Street, it is busy with locals. My favorite salad is the beet, arugula, and goat cheese. Yummmmmm. I always have a special, just because they sound so good and I'm never disappointed. My friend loves the duck legs and chicken parmesan. They also have a... more
