Not sure who have given positive reviews to this restaurant...I am a New Yorker and had good Italian food before. The food was really bad: fish was extremely bad and pasta was way overcooked. Tiramissu was not bad though...Service was good, location convinient but food was bad! more
This restaurant is perfect. Not too haughty but not too shabby, either. Great location, wonderful staff and amazing food. I've never been to a restaurant that was so accommodating -- they will bend over backwards to make sure your experience is a perfect one. If you can, ask for MJ as your server. He made some amazing food and wine... more
What a find! Wanted to book a restaurant for my 40th birthday in New York and took trip advisers advice - Fantastic. Best meal we all 11 of us had during our stay. Great service, friendly and relaxed. We even had two New York residents with us who had not been to the restaurant before and they were impressed enough... more
So glad I read all of the reviews and learned about this restaurant. It was fantastic!! Planned it for our last night in town (wish I'd done it sooner because I probably would have gone back each night!) and I was really excited, then worried that it would not meet up to the hype. IT DID. Great staff, nice clean... more
The food was fantastic, reasonablly priced and excellent service. I ordered the seafood linguine, but wasn't too keen on the mussels and squid. The waiter offered to substitue shrimp. It had a whole lobster tail and several large shrimp. The waiter went our of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable meal. more
The Trattoria Trecolori is an incredible restaurant. My husband and I, along with our two teenage children, recently ate at this restaurant during a trip to NYC. This was by far the best restaurant we were able to find in NYC. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious; the wait staff are friendly, helpful, and courteous; and the restaurant decor... more
My husband and I went with two other couples for dinner on a recent Saturday night. Originally we had 6:00 p.m. reservations, but called ahead when we realized we wouldn't be there in time. They were able to give us 7:30 reservations instead. When we arrived there at 6:45 and gave our name to the hostess, she graciously told us... more
We needed a restaurant in the theater district. We called last minute for a reservation for 5 (with 2 under 14) and they took us, no questions asked (except "how fast can you get here?') Sat us immediately, served a delicious meal and had us out with plenty of time to get to the show without us ever feeling hurried... more
We had lunch there yesterday prior to seeing Rent. The food was delicious. I had veal topped with eggplant and mozzarella, and my daughter had angel hair pasta, and asked they put grilled chicken in it. Wonderful. We kept switching plates to taste each others meals. The atmosphere was very nice, a welcome change from the crowds of Broadway. What... more
