There is good reason why this bakery is rated so highly by so many. We tried several different treats: their famous pain chocolate, chocolate éclairs, and a black currant and almond tart (I forget the exact name!). We also had three different pressed grill sandwiches: the tapenade and mozzarella, the pastrami, and the ham and cheese. The treats were great... more

restaurant was great, but getting a cake from the bakery delivered to the restaurant was a disaster. unfriendly staff at the bakery made it difficult. more

This is must visit place. For a coffee and unique selection of pastries and baked goods, this one is hard to beat. Get there when they open or be prepared to wait in line. more

They make my favorite bread...I'll drive to SF just to get the bread! Their sandwiches are quite good, but their baked goods are over-the-top intense. They lie down plaque and will kill you instantly. more
