Many people regard "Pat's" as the best steak restaurant in Louisville, and there's plenty of evidence to support that claim -- great steaks and side items, arguably the best homemade blue cheese salad dressing you'll enjoy in a restaurant, and a traditional (some argue TOO traditional) steakhouse atmosphere... I am fortunate enough to live in Louisville and I try and visit this restaurant at least 4 times a year. Let me just start off by saying if you have not been to this steakhouse, you are missing out. This may be read a bit harsh but considering the prices and the raves some of the locals have for this place, in my opinion the owner Pat Francis is resting on old tradition and needs to make a lot of changes.
