We thought the place was beautiful and very relaxing. The rooms were very clean with all the amenities you needed if you wanted a night in. The views from the rooms and balconies were amazing. Anja and Kai were both nice, but felt they could relax a bit more. For example during breakfast they kept talking. Personally I don't like... more

Dear iresp, thank you for your review. But we are a little bit surprised. Why didn´t you tell you that you do not want to talk while having breakfast. On the other hand why did you ask questions during breakfast time, because how should I have known that you do not want me to answer these questions while you were...

We have just returned from a week at Mango Bay cottages - sadly we will not be making a return visit. Despite the comfortable cottages and welcome view, the hosts let the whole package down somewhat drastically. My partner and I have stayed at many privately owned cottages like Mango Bay and have had wonderful holidays which makes this negative... more

Now we are really “disappointed” as well, we just don’t understand this review. Just because there was a small misunderstanding with the car rental and the airport transfer we are know the worst hosts? This is the story from our side: At first there flight arrived ½ hour early and we had to drop other guests at the airport. At...

My spouse and I stayed at Mango Bay Cottages for 2 weeks in February 2008. We have visited many places in the Carribean but our stay at Mango Bay Cottages and Grenada stands out as one of our better vacations The location is off the beaten track but not too far from the local flavour (both St. George's and Gouyave).... more

If you don't care to stay at a huge resort and are looking for a picturesque retreat to make your base for exploring Grenada, look no further. The newly opened (October 2007) Mango Bay Cottages are clean, comfortable, and quiet. Great location away from the city makes it easy to explore the rest of the island. We enjoyed million-dollar sunset... more

I have been in the Carribean various times and on a couple of different places, but fell in love with Grenada almost immediately back in 2003. Since then this is my 4th time I spent on the isle and - luckily - found another hidden treasure: The Mango Bay Cottages! These guys did a fantastic job in turning a piece... more

We had a wonderful time at Mango Bay. We were hoping for somewhere beautiful, comfortable and quiet, which we certainly found. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and actually all the islanders, was a great bonus! We are both mid 50's (one with RA) but could still manage the yomp to the beach, especially as to have your own... more

We stayed at mangobay cottages for almost two weeks in January 2008 and can highly recommend it to anyone who likes non-touristy places (talking both about the cottages and the island itself). The place is off the beaten track, away from nightlife, stores and traffic, but in easy driving distance of the same (to St. Georges it takes about 25... more

We loved this place and Anja & Kai made us feel very welcome. The beach below the room was addictive. The more we went to the beach the more we wanted to stay. And the moon set….. there is no place on earth that the moon could be more gorgeous. What we would tell anyone that comes to visit the... more

If you love warm breezes coming through your cottage day and night, sitting on the balcony watching the sea, beautiful view of the lush rain forest - this is a piece of heaven. The 40 minute trip from St Georges to St John is well worth it. The cottages are very clean and set out very well. The bed is... more

We just returned from our holidays in the beautiful island of Grenada and we stayed at the Mango Bay Cottages. Anja & Kai the hosts and owner of these hidden Cottages really love Grenada and they found a nice spot for their little cozy Guesthouse. We loved it to be away from the main tourism area and these place is... more
