My husband and two daughters ages 6 and 9, spent four days at the Kahala in early August. We mainly went there for our girls to participate in the Dolphin Discovery program. We were blown away at how beautiful and special the resort was. We stayed in room 805 in the main tower and had a spectacular view of the... more

I am surprised by the glowing reviews of this property which in my opinion is not close to a five-star property in any way, shape or form, and thus is grossly overpriced. I was initially booked in a mountain view king. I had requested an early check-in, which I knew was not guaranteed. When we arrived at around 12 noon,... more

This hotel, secluded from the hussle and bussle of Waikiki is a sure winner. We were lucky to book a beach front room, which was a delight. The staff was wonderful, the beach side breakfast buffet was great. Over all I don't think we would have enjoyed our stay in Honolulu as much if we would have stayed at any... more

Stayed three nights at the Kahala Hotel in Kahala, Oahu, just a few miles away from Waikiki, but a world of difference. The hotel has been around for many years and has changed ownership several times, but has always remained an excellent property. The service was amazing with several employees going the extra mile, like Lynn at the front desk... more

The Kahala again exceeded our expectations in every area. The service is impeccable, the food wonderful, and the overall feel of the resort is beautiful and relaxing. Definitely get the breakfast package if you can. Everything on the buffet is wonderful, though with our extended family of 12, the meals tended to get expensive. By far the most memorable and... more

The service at the Kahala was definitely 5-star. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. The concierge is very knowledgeable about what the island (Oahu) has to offer and gives very honest advice about certain areas. Although my honey fell ill, they were very accomodating making sure we quickly got a doctor called in to our room, assisting us... more

I stayed at the Kahala during my 7 day visit to Oahu where I got married. The Kahala ( in my opinion) is by far the BEST hotel in Oahu. The hotel service goes out of their way to ensure you have the most relaxing stay possible. The Valet drivers are friendly and try really hard to address you by... more

My husband and I stayed at The Kahala for a business trip which happened to fall on our 1st wedding anniversary. After a long drive from the Honolulu airport, we arrived at the hotel, which is in a very beautiful, secluded, and upscale residential area of Honolulu. The lobby area was fabulous!! Huge windows with sweeping views of the pool... more

If you aren't blown away by this hotel then you really need to stay home because you won't be happy any where. This resort is exceptional in terms of rooms, service and ammenities and the extra touches. Yes it is expensive...very expensive in fact and yes the dining options are silly high priced, but if you go there knowing you... more

Our stay at the Kahala Resort at Oahu, Hawaii was a vacation to remember! We were greeted by personable staff, presented leis, and escorted to our Dolphin Lanai suite. The well-appointed room overlooked the Dolphin Lagoon, home of the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. The beds were exquisite and I loved the deep soaking tub. The "above and beyond" amenities and service... more
