An amazing honeymoonLocation is fabulous. Service couldn't have been better. more
Hotel was in a really good location. The staff was very friendly. Use the valet at the hotel. You'll end up paying just as much to park it in a parking garage that is further away. We didn't eat at the restaurant although it looked great. The room was clean and bigger than we expected for a Hotel Monaco. Short... more
Dear Smashers - Thank you for your recent review of the Hotel Monaco Seattle - your comments are certainly appreciated, and thank you for your note about the parking/valet and room. We hope to see you again on an upcoming trip to the Emerald City! All our best, Steve S. for Hotel Monaco Seattle
Agree with all of the positive reviews for the Monaco. It's located in the heart of downtown Seattle and walking distance to Pike Place and other downtown spots. Rooms were very clean and functional and we loved some of the interesting touches. For example you can request a goldfish as a temporary pet and the faux animal terry robes were... more
Dear kiwiwannabe - We really appreciate your feedback and review of our hotel. The parking fee for our hotel is comparable with the Seattle market and we hope that this isn't a negative factor in anyone's downton Seattle hotel consideration process. Hopefully, our level of service, and proximity of the hotel to a lot of downtown venues and popular attractions...
We stayed here in March as we were on a Hockey tour. The Hotel is literally opposite the Arena so was a perfect location for us as we had two matches to go to in the four days we were there. Also it is right next to China Town (which is nothing to write home about) and also it is... more
Dear Chiliwidle - Thank you for your recent review of your stay at the Hotel Monaco Seattle. It means so much to us that you have taken the time to give an assessment of your experience with us! If your travel plans include Seattle again in the future, we hope that the Monaco Seattle will be in your consideration. With...
I just left the Monaco and would say that this hotel has absolutely everything for the business traveller. Firstly, in all my years of travel, I have never come across such a friendly, welcoming, and inviting staff outside of Asia. That alone makes this hotel stand out from most US hotels. But there is much more to recommend it. The... more
Dear trinzeon - We appreciate your time in reviewing our hotel, and your recent stay with us! It truly means a lot to us that your experience with us, and comments about your visit were significant enough to have you review our hotel (in particular the great notes about our staff - which will be shared). Truly again, thank you!...
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Monaco for a Saturday night prior to leaving on an Alaska Cruise from the Port of Seattle. We had a Monaco King Room, and they have a program where you can adopt a goldfish for your stay. Our adoptive goldfish was named Belle. Belle was a charmer, very interactive for a fish,... more
Dear ATudorQuene - We really appreciate your recent review of the Hotel Monaco Seattle - and all of your great photos! You have truly captured the essence of the hotel and the surrounding neighborhood - how great! On your next visit, we can certainly request a different view of the western side, which offers a bit more of the waterfront...
My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding. We paid $300 for the suite with the jetted two-person jacuzzi tub. The hotel has a boutique feel - the rooms are decorated with a lot of stripes and reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. The room we had was huge but had a lot of empty space which... more
Had a wonderful time at the Hotel Monaco. The location was excellent, a short stroll to the main downtown shopping area. Pet friendly but the room showed no signs of animal hair, smells, etc. We had a monaco suite and the sleeping area had big striped curtains which could be pulled closed, a nice touch which felt cosy. Had a... more
Hello sunchip - thanks for your review! We love to get this feedback (and all feedback) from our guests, and are thrilled that your stay made you feel like rock stars! There are so many unique elements to every Kimpton hotel, and we are glad that we had a chance to share those with you. You will certainly have to...
Our 2 night weekend getaway at the Seattle Monaco went off without a hitch. From check-in to check-out, the hotel was a pleasurable jumping off point for our activities around town. Comfortable bed, spacious room, nice bathroom. The front desk staff was helpful with suggestions regarding unique places to dine at for both early morning and late night jaunts. more
Dear SCG2 - thank you for your review of our hotel. We are glad to hear also that your trip to Seattle was filled with fun activities, and that the Monaco was a nice jumping off point for your escape (which is also our hotel theme coincidentally). Hope to see you again soon on a future visit! With our thanks,...
I was here for 5 days/4 nights on a business trip and not having been to Seattle before, I didn't know quite what to expect. The hotel overall was a pleasant surprise. It is an older building that has obviously been substantially rennovated. I was in a room on 3rd floor facing the street but heard no traffic noise at... more
