We arrived at the New Orleans Guest House B&B on a Thursday afternoon and were taken right to our room. The hotel is half a block north of Rampart St on the edge of the French Quarter. The location is great in relation to the French Quarter. You probably don't want to go much further north of the hotel at... more

The guest house is truly the best place to stay in New Orleans. It is a short, quaint walk to the French quarter and Cafe du Monde, or the trolley stops right in front if you prefer to ride. Either way, you can leave your car parked right out front all weekend and enjoy New Orleans the way it should... more

We stayed at the New Orleans Guest House at the end of June 2007 for two nights. We were wary of the location before we arrived as it was on the cusp of the French Quarter. The staff at the front desk were very helpful in giving us advice on the best route to walk into town, and this was... more

We stayed at this hotel for a short time, on an impromptu visit to 'Nawlins for the Essence Festival. I chose this hotel because it was very affordable, especially for the time frame that we were there. I liked the uniqueness of the exterior (a pink building). It's a bit of a walk to Bourbon St., but I was there... more

My boyfriend and I spent Memorial weekend at the New Orleans Guest House. And we loved it! As New Orleans is steeped in character and history, we thought it would be more fitting – and more fun! – to stay in a small independently-run hotel, rather than a large homogeneous chain. We researched the internet, and this pretty pink hotel... more

We really enjoyed the N.O. Guest Hose. Price was right and the free parking was an added bonus. We actually liked being just outside the "Quarter" as it allowed us to experience some real local flavor in restaurants and night life. We felt so safe here. This is being written post Katrina, and we hope and pray that the staff... more

I loved this B&B. What a fantastic home. Interesting, artsy, charming, comfortable are a few of the words that best describe it. From the minute you are greeted by your welcoming hosts, you feel right at home. The walk through the outside garden loaded with blooming flowers and exotic trees soothe you before you even reach your room. The rooms... more

pluses...onsite parking free, quiet, close to French Quarter, security, friendly, neat old cat, good air conditioning, clean place. minuses...lacks hot breakfast...you get a nice warm cresant, a few pieces of sliced fruit and good coffee, small rooms, no frigerater in room, expect to do a lot of walking to all the sites away from French Quarter.
