I have stayed at this hotel 3 times. I am having trouble understanding the negative reviews. I grew up with cows in my back yard so I am not an urban expert, but this is not a really bad part of town. On the other hand, it is in Brooklyn so you have to use some amount of street smarts.... more

Even by the comfort inn standards, this place was horrible. Naturally there were some booking problems (their on-line system wasn't functioning, big hassle), but ignoring that whole mess, and ignoring that the location is in a shady part of Carrol Gardens/Red Hook (about 20 min in any direction to anywhere remotely comfortable in Brooklyn), when we checked out our bathroom... more

This hotel should be name "UNcomfort Inn". This hotel is lack of parking space and it is in a bad location. The noise in the basement is horrible. Don't walk on the street. Make sure you have a car or just catch a taxi for drop off. The front desk staffs are not helpful. It's the worst hotel I've ever... more

Our family was not prepared for the lack of concern for the problems this hotel and Priceline created for us. We arrived with "guaranteed late check-in" at this hotel at 11:35 p.m. on Saturday night 8-16-08 after our flight had been delayed due to weather. We had paid in advance for 3 rooms for 4 nights at this hotel through... more

We just returned from a trip to New York City and had a good time in the city {yankees game, bronx zoo} but the hotel was a big disappointment ! The young man @ the desk was not at all friendly.I asked to talk to the manger of the hotel and she would only speak to me over the front desk... more

Called ahead of time as i needed 1:00 check in . Was told no problem . Room wasn't ready so I changed and left. Got back, no room. told computer had lost my reservation. They relocated me to a hotel with twin beds. I'm over 6'. Hotel desk manager basically said, I had a room so why was I complaining. more

Was looking for a simple, clean, no frills bed for the night in NYC and didnt want to pay Manhattan rates. Priceline came back with this place in Brooklyn... not my first choise, but whatwas I expecting for $149. Not to rehash what has already been said already, yep, the location is definetly sketchy and that is said from a... more

Overall, I enjoyed my four days stay in the hotel. Except that there are nearly no parking space. If you can't find a parking spot behind the hotel, you can park your car on the street which is FREE. But watchout for the street rules, I got a $45 ticket parking on the street because of street cleaning. Just remember... more

I had come up to hang with one of my friends (now girlfriend) and I stayed at the comfort Inn on Butler st. The photos revealed what I expected, clean rooms, continental breakfast, and friendly service. I didn't expect it to be in the middle of an industrial area. Ok for me cause I just slept there for two nights... more

We booked this hotel because we wanted to have nice hotel standard and pay a decent price for it. Comfort Inn Brooklyn Bridge sure served us very well on these areas. Hotel was close enaugh to Pacific St. and Atlantic Ave Subway stations so you could easily carry all the shopping bags with you. FREE Continental breakfast was a good... more
