Was in NY in September for a wedding! It's close to the subway station and is in a very quiet Jewish Area. This is fine if you don't mind taxis and the subway. The price was excellent. When you walk into the lobby area for the rooms it's a bit shabby, but the rooms were huge compared to hotel rooms... more

I had great luck on the phone and through emails with the hotel, so was looking forward to the stay, especially because the price was right. I was disappointed almost from the beginning. The room was a decent size, but, not being Jewish, I received very poor service in every other situation. I was practically raked over the coals each... more

Everything seemed to be ok, but I grew up in Brooklyn and understand some of the holidays and rules they had because the hotel predominately caters to Jewish folks. It was ok, the room was clean the bathroom & kitchen were new and the air conditioner worked fine. They were in the midst of additional repairs so they apologized for... more

The staff at the front were friendly enough but this hotel is bizarre with it's oversize livingroom, a kitchen with no utensils and rooms with only twin beds. When I asked for a spoon the reception at the lobby was cool and never came up with any utensils. They don't care that much for customer service. Another guest at the... more

The Park House Hotel provided a slightly better rate when compared to nearby, more 'posh' hotels (about $30 less?). The hotel decor was average, a lot of dark colors and wood. There is no free internet access and, notably, no hair dryer in the bathrooms. Also, the towels were extremely small and were the size of hand towels . .... more

I stayed one night at the Park House Hotel while on business in Brooklyn. I chose this hotel because the price was right--under $150. The lobby and check-in were fine, but when I stepped off the elevator to go to my room, I gasped. The hallway was very dilapidated with peeling paint and wallpaper and dim bulbs without any shades.... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our long awaited trip to Brooklyn to explore both of our roots. We had been driving all day (we live in Canada, but are originally from NY) and phoned to say we would be arriving late, around 10pm and to arrange for parking in their lot across the street. "No problem!"... more

We have stayed at this hotel several times. For the price, it is a bargain -- a perfectly fine breakfast is included -- and the rooms include (kosher) kitchens for those who wish to heat or refrigerate food - as I recall, no dishes or silverware is available. Our room has always had two kingsize beds, full bathroom, sofa, small... more

We attended the Park House Hotel for a weekend Saturday Lunch Bar Mitzvah for my nephew. We arrived on Thursday evening and Joe at the Front desk greeted us warmly eventhough my seven kids were tired and cranky. The room was brand new, large and inviting. There were enough beds and cribs set out to fit us all. Some rooms... more

We'd really hoped to find a gem in Brooklyn but were sorely mistaken. The Park House's website mentions the following, which are all entirely untrue: - elegant hotel - luxurious - staff is courteous and attentive, superb service - warm welcome The staff was curt and couldn't be bothered from the second we showed up. The walk from the elevator... more
