First of all, I must say that the staff was very friendly!!!!! The room was very dirty, the faucet had so much soap scum that it was black around the sink. It had a foul odor and the bed was not comfortable at all!! I would not stay at this hotel again!!!! Very, very dirty!!! more

Motel is immediately off the I95, bunched with other motels it is next to a cracker barrel. Stayed for 2 days, staff arranged a courtesy pick up and drop off in Savannah historic district, 5 dollars, plus 18 dollars for the historic district tour. The motel room is a standard size, very clean and tidy, there is a nice indoor... more

I made an online reservation which had to be cancelled fewer than 48 hours after I made it. Because I had chosen the least expensive room rate, there was a $25 "cancellation fee" charged to me. Beware of this and don't get sucked into this scam. Upon calling Country Inns and Suites' Customer Service, I was told by a very... more

Chose this hotel because of it's indoor pool and inside rooms on the drive from South Carolina to Orlando. Should have picked one of the other hotels in the gateway area! Although the room was clean there was hole, which had been painted over - badly, and there was a smell of cigarettes in a non-smoking hotel! One of the... more

It took 3 tries to get a clean smelling room and during that time the girl that was helping us acted inconveinced. The staff was not friendly, and was less than welcoming. I expect to feel welcomed when I am staying out of town and I will never stay at this hotel again. more

Stopped on way to FL after having had a great stay nite before in a Country Inn in Maryland. Guess our expectations were too high. Outrageously expensive. We had to go to dinner before we could have our room (6pm). While he was cleaning our room, the guy had been smoking a joint. We had hoped to get a view... more

A lovely hotel - clean, comfortable and convenient! Right off the interstate so easily accessible en route to Florida. Lots of restaurants withing walking distance. An inside room entry and a clean and comfortable room. Generally a good experience - I will stay there again. more

I used my goldpoints to stay at this hotel for 2 nights, so I really can't complain. However, I will write honestly so maybe it will help someone else. It is too far from the historic district, cannot go back and forth quickly. The breakfast was okay, more than continental , which is what I expected. The pool area was... more

This was picked for us from Priceline of the Gateway District, in hindsight I should have paid more and stayed within the Historic District for the 2 nights. 15 mi away translates to 20-30 min. drive in traffic and not convenient to go back for freshing up and forget it if you left your camera behind or want to take... more

We paid $74.00 with a coupon from one of those rest area coupon books. I guess it was a fair deal but the property is in poor shape. I have stayed at other Country Inns but this one definately falls short. The hall had peeling wallpaper. The bathroom had a flourescent fixture that flickered and there was much mildew in... more
