I have stayed at Cornerstone on three occasions over three years. I have always enjoyed the stay, found the innkeepers to be welcoming and lovely. I have stayed in two different rooms and the beds were comfortable, so I slept well. The street is noisy, but the windows can remain closed with the air conditioner on for better noise management.... more

I wish I had read the previous reviews first and at least, would have known what to expect. We were able to park right in front over Easter weekend (5 stars). We also were greated with a smile and please sign your credit slip, it's already been run through (1 star) as soon as we entered the place. Your room... more

My wife and I were the only guests, Sunday 20 Jan 2008. Heavy trucks, sirens, student parties, cars burning rubber outside our window all night. Very little sleep. And then I got fined $25 for using an unmarked hallway bathroom the next morning by a furious, red-faced, shaking owner. She explained that it belonged to another room, which made sense,... more

My sister and I recently stayed at this property while visiting Penn Law. I had made our reservation about 2 months ago and upon our arrival was told that the room I had booked was not available "because we gave it to someone who wanted to stay 5 days instead of just 1 night" and "we've moved you to a... more

And now the rest of the story. . . . It is true that I changed their room but it was not for the reason that Sister 1 said. The room that Sister 1 and 2 chose was located on the first floor and we use that room for guests with disabilities. I didn’t learn that Sister 1 was disabled...

Comfortable, Cozy and Inviting! But what makes all the difference is the people and they couldn't have been nicer or more gracious. more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Cornerstone B&B for one night in January. The house itself was very charming and our room (we stayed in the Continental suite on the top floor) was very comfortable and clean. The owners were out of town when we stayed, but the care-taker who was left in charge was very nice. We did not... more

I'm a medical student who stayed at the Cornerstone before taking the Step 2 CS examination. I stayed in the furness room for one night and was given a small discount as a test taker. The accommodations were nice even though the decor wasn't exactly my style. The room was well heated and spacious, the bed a little high but... more

Unfortunately we have to agree with all the people who have written negative reviews before this one. Nadine, the inn keeper, does not seem to be suited to run a B&B. The house itself was nice, rooms nice, the breakfast was pretty good but nothing amazing - but definitively not a four course breakfast as she describes it! My husband... more

I know this is not supposed to have personal insults, so I will keep it broad. Some people are suited for the hospitality industry, and some people are not. It was almost a joke the rudeness my 8 1/2 month pregnant wife and I were greeted with when we arrived to the Inn. Unfortunately it was not. My wife and... more

As innkeeper of an excellent bed and breakfast, I’d like to present Cornerstone’s side of this review. First I’d like to say that Cornerstone has one of the longest check-in windows of any bed and breakfast with no 24 hour staff. Our check-in range is from 3:00 – 9:30 PM and we warmly welcome guests anytime during this window. We...

We stayed for three nights in the Franklin room - this has a separate, private & enormous bathroom with Victorian fittings and an original 19C stained glass window. The house and rooms are clean, well presented and full of character and there is a splendid porch where they serve cheese & wine to guests on a Saturday afternoon. This sort... more
