Excellent location. Great base to get to all the amazing attractions that NYC has to offer. Hotel rooms very confortable with a great selection of amenities for a 3 star hotel. Massive beds that are very welcomed after a long days sightseeing in the city. Plenty of places for breakfast nearby namely Moonrock diner on 57th. Great service and very... more

This was our third stay here--we attend the New York International Gift Show and receive a discounted rate--this time $170/night. The room (in the south tower) was clean and very spacious for a NYC hotel room. In fact, the room seemed almost empty--it needed more furniture and/or larger hanging wall art. The king bed was comfortable. The rug and wall... more

Well located...very reasonably priced hotel in Manhattan. We stayed four days. Room is a good size for the city, very clean with very comfortable beds. No safe in the room however..so plan accordingly. We are two women who travel to NYC on business a few times a year. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel. Not luxurious but... more

This Holiday Inn did not have the classy touches to which we are accustomed in other Holiday Inns. For example, the Holiday Inn in Charleston, S.C. had free fresh fruit and bottled water at the front desk. The breakfast smorgasboard was impeccable and could suit ANY tastes. The breakfast at NY-57th was limited and truly not delectable or attractive. The... more

Would definitely recommend this hotel. Room was very large - bathroom was a bit tight and slightly dated. Staff was very attentive . Location was superb - close to the action but on a quiet street. - 2 blocks from the park. Rooftop pool was much nicer than expected - big pool and lots of lounge chairs. Had dinner @... more

I stayed here for 4 days in June for some pre tour sightseeing.MY freinds had a arrived a day before and got a smoking room which is odd as they are non smokers and their room stank of cigerette smoke.Thankfully I had a non smoking room. The room was extremely large and more than enough room for luggage etc The bathroom... more

This is one of very few reasonably priced, but still nice hotels in Manhattan. It is not right in the heart of the action, but is near it in a nice residential neighborhood. For me, this provides some reprieve from the craziness of Midtown, and a little feeling of living like a local. Definitely a tourist hotel, with lots of... more

Travelling with kids, a hotel with a pool was the key consideration in our decision to pick this Holiday Inn Midtown. It was the only only hotel in our price range with a decent sized pool in the area we wanted to stay. That the pool shut down at 6 PM was a bit disappointing but not the end of... more

You know.....when you are in NYC you don't plan on staying in your room very much. When you are there you want to be relaxed, get a good nice sleep, and have a warm shower. This place will give you that. It is close to, but out of the crazyness, of the whole down area. I was there for 4... more

Holiday Inn Midtown NYC - Loved the pool! Our family of four (my husband and I and our two teenage daughters) just spent eight nights at this hotel, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat! Service was great, the room was large, air conditioning worked well, and we were also able to open the windows. The bathroom was... more
