The Hotel Gansevoort is the place to be in New York City. I visited many good hotels while travelling from here to there, but my absolute favorite hotel, I have ever stayed in, is the Gansevoort. BIG disappointment from room, bar and food. Pool lounge and Bar scene small service worse. Stayed for 3 nights and wished I booked elsewhere.
