We got a great rate on a package that included aquarium tickets, imax tickets and a wonderful breakfast. My kids loved the historic feel of the hotel (particularly the "gold" elevators) as did I. Yes, the room with two double beds was tiny but no smaller than many of the rooms we've been in while staying in NYC. Since we... more

My gf and I stayed at Omni on this Labor Day weekend. Its in great location, walkable to anywhere - Copley Sq, Chinatown, Newbury Street, Beacon Hill etc. Also, the Omni Hotel has great history and pedigree of past quests - practically all US Presidents stayed at Omni at one time or another. Macolm X worked as a busboy and... more

My two young daughters and I stayed there for three nights. We got a lovely room on the top floor. Very clean and traditionally pretty. Bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, although pricey, but worth the splurge. Concierge service was great. The girls ordered a meal via room service and that was great also. The only problem we... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Omni in Boston. Location was great... convenient to all. Service was very good as well. Valet parking while convenient, was expensive ($80 for 2 nights). We stayed in a room with 2 double beds. With 2 teenage daughters, this room was not for us, as there was no room to move around considering we... more

Just spent six nights at the Omni Parker House and loved every minute of it. I don't really understand the reviews complaining about small rooms, what do people expect in such an old hotel ? Unlike many of Boston's newer hotel's the Parker House is within walking distance of T stations covering most lines, making all the sights accessible. All... more

I just recently stayed at the Omni Parker House and was very pleased with the entire experience. I'd read about the rooms being small--we had a Deluxe room and, while smaller than the new modern hotels, I didn't feel cramped at all. We actually enjoyed it more because of the style--it was impeccably clean and cozy with high ceilings and... more

We stayed two nights at the Omni. I booked a one-bedroom suite for my husband, teenage son, and me, because I'd read reviews saying rooms were small. We had a king bed in the bedroom and a fold-out couch in the living room -- plenty of room for the three of us. The bathroom was indeed small (pedestal sink, one-person... more

I've stayed twice this summer at the Omni Parker House in Boston, and both my stays have had an identical feel: grand older property, nicely renovated common spaces, lovely amenities, and a great location -- all in fairly stark contrast to very small, oddly shaped rooms, at least in the category I booked. Both my stays were last-minute extensions of... more

We, a party of four, two grown up two children stayed one night at the Hotel in Boston in July 2008. We had booked a "deluxe" room with two beds. Unfortunately I have not read the critics before we booked the hotel. The room is despite its name tiny. Your can hardly move arround the bed. If you have luggage... more

After coming home late, we were stopped in the lobby and ejected from the hotel because we had 6 beers with us. They didn't offer to hold them at the desk, they immediately kicked us out on the streets. We were not aware of the rule regarding alcohol in guest rooms and had we been aware, we obviously wouldn't have... more

Dear Guest: We regret that you were unaware of the state's laws regarding bringing alcoholic beverages onto licensed premises and that you did not hear our security officer's request to hold your beverages for you until departure. This is a common practice here at the Omni Parker House and one which other guests have adhered to without incident in the...
