We stayed here twice - one night upon arrival and then again for two nights at the end of our stay. This hotel is what you pay for - a basic, cheap motel that is clean but dated. It was a great option for us as the price was right and we only used it as a place to sleep.... more

If you're looking for a centrally located budget hotel, the Maui Seaside is a good bet. My nightly rate was under $100 and the hotel staff from the housekeepers to the front desk clerks were very friendly. The hotel's location makes it easier to travel to different areas of the island. If you don't feel like getting away, there is... more

Having arrived in Maui at 10:30 PM we thought it best to stay in Kahului vs driving into Kaanapali so we chose one of the only 2 places in Kahului. It was like being at a motel we would stay as kids when on vacation-cheap but fairly clean. We felt like we had gone back to the '50's. we were... more

We stayed at the Maui Seaside on three separate occasions for one day each time in January and February. We found each room to be clean and fairly good sized. The staff was always very friendly including the housekeeping and grounds keeper. They always smiled, waved and offered to help out even when not asked. The first stop, we were... more

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to book this place. But, it was the only thing on Maui in our budget. It was actually very nice. We got a "deluxe room," which was right by the pool and from our little lanai we could see the ocean. It was much better than expected. I would recommend, as long as... more

Husband and I stayed one night after getting in on a late flight that arrived around ten o'clock. After reading the reviews I was pretty scared to see what we were in for but the room ended up being clean and basic which was what we were looking for. Had an okay view in the morning but checked out right... more

The hotel is close to the airport and local shopping. Staff was not too friendly and the parking is a mess. The room was decent although a bit outdated. Nice views of the water from the pool area. more

The Maui Seaside is good, cheap place to stay if you are landing later in the day and just need a close, clean place to stay before heading to other areas of Maui. When we got there, the desk service staff was very friendly and had upgraded our room. There was plenty of parking. The room was clean. A little... more

The hotel was basically clean but very outdated. Carpet was old and the windows sucked. Small towels in Bathroom.Tight fit parking lot. On our section of hotel to go outside to parking lot had to walk all the way down to one side of unit then walk all the way back outside. Crazy. This is probably legal but hallways had... more

Stayed here because we had to (a late flight in, so did not want to drive in the dark). And will never stay again. The personnel was friendly but that is just about as far as it gets. The bed was a nightmare, room way below average and the whole building was old and not well taken care of. The... more
