It was okay. It certainly wasn't bad but it wasn't over the top excellent. It was...mediocre. Acceptable. Our room was pretty standard- two double beds, bathroom, fridge, microwave, balcony, tv. This "resort" is located in a great section of town in North Myrtle Beach. Overall, we had a good stay.Check-in was exactly 3PM and the room was not quite ready. I do not book any hotel without first checking the status on Tripadvisor 1st. I was impressed with Ocean Reef's overall rating, but was concerned with some of the comments that had been made.
