We asked for a double executive room and thought it would be nice for the extra money, paid £115, well it was a joke. Standard double bed, very old fashioned, kitchen which we didnt want a tiny bathroom. The actual hotel is grubby and needing a facelift, and the breakfast ! Refurbished excellent quality hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean. Very comfortable and homely accomodation. Restaurant is very good quality, in lovely surroundings of new orangery extension. Nothing too much trouble for these people, even sausage sandwiches at 2 in the morning. Booked at last minute, hotel was ok, not really 3star quality that you expect.
