O dear, what a horrible experience. Apparently, this propoerty is owned by one of the Mumbai politicians and happens to be on his several money laundring conduits. I realised that the propoerty is actually very very well designed and constrcuted, but the pathetic upkeep has made its look several decades old. I booked this hotel on Make My Trip as it was a "recommended" hotel. What a mistake! Although I had paid for all meals and accommodation in advance, I couldn't face a night here. We booked this through an Indian travel website, as we wanted to escape Mumbai for the weekend. What we found was a total disgrace. For India this hotel was NOT cheap and the same price as other nearby hotels that were far superior in quality.
