Really sweet authentic Mexican rooms, clean and nicely decorated we were very happy with them. It was just a shame we were made to feel like an inconvenience. I've stayed here literally a dozen times over the past three years. VERY nice folks. They go out of their way to take care of you. It's not the Four Seasons (In El Fuerte?), but it's very nice, clean, and reasonably priced. Decent food, too. The only down side is the the service in the restaurant is sometimes a bit... more

We are a tour organizing company that uses Hotel La Choza often. We have never had any problem with cleanliness nor any inconveniences in using the hotel. Our customers have always been satisifiied with the hotel and the services provided. El Fuerte is in a tropical aerea, next to a wide river where it 's difficult not to find any... more

We had two rooms #20 & #21. Two of us had bites and were later confirmed as being bed bugs. Use caution. more
