On our recent trip to Vegas to visit family, we stayed at the Orleans for 4 days, then drove to Zion National Park for a few days, and returned to the Orleans since we were flying out of Vegas the next morning. Great hotel. Beds were decent, pillows are just as atrocious as everybody warns so if you can bring your own or ask for more. I suppose its about expectations. Some people want 5 star hotel treatment but are only willing to pay 2 star rates. I expect good value, for the money I pay to stop at a hotel. Just checking in was a nightmare with all the smoke, now I understand Vegas is smoky...but this was the worst casino floor by far. Poor ventilation.
