We decided on this hotel based on the 3* rating it had. This is not a 3* hotel!!! It is bad. First of all - everything smells like smoke. Even the non-smoking rooms smell like smoke. Since I don't smoke, I find this to be a bad thing Second - the room we stayed in looked really bad. It was... more

Had 2 rooms, 1 with 2 beds & 1 with 1 bed, non smoking, high floor as requested. Both rooms neat, tidy, just your average size hotel room. Never waited long for elevators any of the days we were there (Wed - Sun). All staff I used were helpful & curtious. I also used the pool (heated) & valet parking... more

I have tried to be loyal to the Fitz because they have been such gracious hosts in the past...But the last couple of times were not so good... First of all they were obviously short staffed on the Valet parking...the ones working were nice but much slower than the past. The room was bland, dirty and had none of the... more

If you are expecting Wynn accomidations at this price , you will be very disapointed. If you are a fan of "old Vegas," stay at the Fitz. Though the rooms are a bit tattered, I can not say enough good things about the casino staff. The bartenders downstairs (Al and Helen (I think!!??)) were AWESOME! While playing VP I couldn't... more

DO NOT stay here. At all. It is dirty, the wallpaper was peeling in the room, the bathroom was filthy. I actually bought a bottle of bleach and poured in the tub. The elevators are horribly slow. We waited 15 minutes for an elevator at one point. We stayed here because of the convienance of Fremont Street. I will not... more

Not only are the rooms dingy and outdated, but the rest of the hotel isn't any better. Don't bother trying to go downstairs for breakfast, I waited 27 minutes for an elevator to go down, and 23 mintues for it to come back up. With over 30 floors, and only 4 elevators (2 of which were broken on my stay)... more

Although I had read some bad reviews, I had also read some good reviews and since the rest of the family for the family reunion was staying there, my husband and I decided to give it a shot. Well, what a mistake...From the room quality, to the desk staff, to the casino staff, it was awful. I wouldn't stay there... more

Fitzgeralds is a very pleasant small hotel and casino. The check in desk was close to the car drop off which was great although quite unusual in Vegas as the hotels do like you to trek through the casinos with your luggage at most of the themed hotels. The rooms were well proportioned, well furnished and clean. We always stay... more

We just got back from Las Vegas and I wanted to post our room experience at Fitzgeralds. This is long and unfortunately it was not good at all. We had booked a four night stay through US Air Vacations that included this hotel. First of all the room was very very clean and the maid did a great job each... more

This was our first time staying here, and because the rates are way cheaper downtown i don't expect a fancy room, but i do want clean! HOusekeeping is definately lacking because after our room had been cleaned there were still ashtrays that had not been emptied and the tub did not look as it had been cleaned either. Peeling wallpaper... more
