We have an upcoming stay at the Westin for the week of Labor Day. After reading some of the reviews, I was nervous about our stay. We are Starwood members and always try to stay at an SPG property. We particularly love Westin as they were the first hotels that seemed to really focus on the comfort of the beds!!... more

Expected better from a Westin. My room was not ready upon arrival and I was downgrading with the promise of points that I had to pursue to eventually get. Elevators were out of order causing long waits to get up and down. Location is a long walk in the heat by day or desolation by night to get to the... more

I booked months ahead for a friend's wedding that took place at the Red Rock Resort (about 10 miles off the Strip). After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, I was definitely cautious about my stay. About a week before, I sent an email to the hotel which was promptly responded. In this email, I illustrated to them what I had... more

We were traveling with a baby so we chose this hotel that was away from all the hustle and bustle of the strip. It was good because the facility was smoke-free but was disappointed because of the poor customer service and room service was very slow. We requested a crib when we checked in but it took 3 calls and... more

Although the hotel has great ammenities and is clean this is not the place for a traveler looking for a "vegas strip" hotel. The clientel is mostly older, not a lot of good gambling in the casino area. We were even told we were being too loud in an empty resturant to later find out that the manager was the... more

At the heart of the Strip, but off the Strip - i.e., best of both worlds (unless you really want to be on the Strip - if you do, then don't bother reading this review). It's a relief to come back to this hotel after a foray into the mania on the Strip. I visited Vegas to visit the Strip,... more

My daughter and I stayed here one night en route from Calgary to Phoenix by road. Her dog was travelling with us and we chose the Westin as they are pet friendly. We arrived hot, tired and in need of comfort and rest. We had a wonderful stay here. From check in to check out staff were super friendly and... more

This hotel is for people like me who enjoy visiting the huge and packed strip hotel/casinos but at the end of the day wants to come back to the tranquility of my hotel, which is only one block from the strip, on the corner at Bally's and Flamingo. Well, when I say tranquility, please bear in mind this is still... more

Front desk staff..RUDE...Bartenders...RUDE.....Dealers......RUDE. They close the Roulette and Craps tables from 1am to 5pm which is a huge bummer. The pool is awful and the 10 dollar a day extra service fee is bs. more

This 4-star hotel, just off the Strip, is conveniently located and is a very clean, modern and comfortable hotel. It has a parking garage, swimming pool, gym, sauna, daily newspaper, in-room coffee, etc. - everything I would want - but therein, ironically, lies my only gripe with this otherwise fine hotel. Regardless of the room rate you booked, there is... more
