“Breakfast ends early”

The rooms where OK. The Breakfast at the lobby cafe was very odd. It was posted that the Breakfast service was till 10:30 but when I arrived on two occasions at 10:15 they looked at me like I was crazy. They had taken down the buffet and asked me if I wanted breakfast? They were not sure if the kitchen... more

We stayed at this hotel over 4th of July weekend for a wedding which was all located downtown Mankato. It was beautiful, new, and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Chris at the front desk helped us store our huge vases of flowers after the wedding reception. He went above and beyond to accomodate an unusual request! Parking was excellent.... more

The lobby was nice and the breakfast was good but spendy- 99% of hotels in todays world offers a free continental breakfast especially at the price that the Hilton charges. Wow we were so excited when we pulled up to this new building right next to the convention center. The parking ramp located right next to the hotel was also very handy. When we arrived at our room however, our hearts sank. It was filthy!! There were pretzles, flowers, crumbs all over the floor. The mirror looked like someone wiped... more

My wife and I spent two nights here and loved it. I booked our reservation through the Hilton Garden Inn Website and chose the Romance Package which included in-room champagne, full breakfast for two and extended check-out. The Hilton Garden Inn Mankato Downtown, is by far the best hotel I have stayed in, during my trips to Mankato. This hotel is brand new, and comes with everything you could ask for. Just returned from a 4 night stay at this property and I have to say the hotel was exceptional. It is very new, so age has not taken its toll yet. I had a King Room which was quite large and with Wireless and a Large LCD TV it had all the amenities you'd want. Public areas are very nice... more

Stayed here one night in January '08. Just opened in October of '07. Wonderful hotel located in downtown Mankato. Have stayed at most hotels in Mankato at one point or another and this place is head and shoulders above the rest.
