Off on a weekend jaunt, walked in without reservations, thought the awards on the wall might equal a quality stay, no way! Hallways were full of bags of dirty linens, could have used a vacuum too. Our room had a musty smell that was covered over with an over powering air freshener, no cups or glasses, nasty stain on the... more

I reserved a stay at the Holiday Inn in Bath for August. Unfortunatly an emergency came up where I had to cancel my trip. When I tried to cancel the hotel (in advance), I was told that I could not cancel and that my card will be charged for the full amount. I called the main Holiday Inn number and... more

Our room was a good size, very quiet and clean. The public areas of the hotel were rather shabby and the lift smelt of stale fat- quite revolting. When we returned to our room after a day touring we found it was exactly as we had left it in the morning. When we rang reception they initially said there was... more

We were actually assisted by the Holiday inn in Ellsworth ME as we needed a place enroute. This one in Bath was indeed expensive even with AAA discount $140!! but we needed a place and all else was booked. I agree, it did need some updating in the hallway areas, but rooms were spotless and updated. There was a fridge... more

The hotel is old. If updated, it would be nice. We stayed 2 nights. I developed an eye infection following the first night & had to go the ER. The ER doctor told me that I came in contact with the bacteria causing the infection within 24 hours -- well I had checked into the hotel 24 hours prior, awoke... more

This hotel could really use a face lift! Stayed in a room on the lower level. The room smelled musty. The mattress was moldy. Not up to par with other Holiday Inns. The attentiveness of the staff was great, but would not stay here again.. more

This hotel is old and dated! However, the staff were ALL WONDERFUL! The girl at the front desk who checked me in was delightful and so helpful. The woman who served me breakfast in the restaurant was also very good, and she als took care of my room service dinner that night and that was flawless. The food from room... more

We stayed 8/25 - 27, had requested a patio room, close to the pool. All we had to do was step out our slider door and there was the pool, or hot tub/excerise room. Our room was very clean & spacious with fridge & microwave. The only thing we found strange, there was no in room safe, for a Holiday... more

My husband and I spent a night here in early May. Room rate was $99 and that was reasonable for the great room and service we experienced. I probably hadn't stayed in a Holiday Inn in over 10 years and if this is the example for all Holiday Inns, they will be my choice of hotel from now on. We... more

I stayed at this particular hotel in late February 2006. The lobby is small and cozy but features comfortable furniture in front of a beautiful fireplace. The dining room features excellent food and the staff is friendly and makes you feel like you're at home. The room was spotless and the refrigerator and microwave in the room was great. I... more
