I love this hotel. The rooms have been recently renovated with very comfortable beds, attractive desks, and beautiful lighting. Des Moines airport is small enough that airplane noise isn't a problem. Very clean. Friendly, attentive staff. The Italo-American restaurant just up the street (recommended by Hampton staff) has good food at a reasonable price. more

I can not say enough great things about the Hampton Inn on Fleur near the airport....free shuttle, the best front desk in Des Moines, the most excellent rooms - so very, very comfortable....great linens, furniture and bedding. This is a very handy hotel if you are flying in or out of Des Moines International Airport. We use the "Park and Fly" option, which adds about $40 to the price of the room, but it is worth it considering the price of parking at the airport.
