My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Indianapolis Drury for three days this past weekend. Apart from the outstanding overall value of the Inn, the entire staff was exemplary. We were made to feel welcome from the time we walked in until the time we left. No matter how busy they were, it seemed that nothing... more
I booked this hotel through the hotel website and got a $70 per night internet rate, which is great value for the quality. The hotel is located 15 minutes from downtown, but is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shopping (actually is right next to Cracker Barrel). We did not take part in the evening reception, but it appeared from... more
We stayed at the Drury Inn on Sept. 29, 2007 while in town for a wedding. Very nice hotel. Very clean, great breakfast, and the beds were actually very comfy. My dad even took the tag off the matteress to see if he could order one for his bed. The only thing that irritated me was when we checked in... more
I have stayed at this Drury twice. I have not had a problem either time, and have had a clean room with very nice amenities. The cocktail reception and breakfast are great. I just wish that it had an indoor pool like many of the Drurys have. I don't even need to call around in Indy, this is the only... more
This is in the family of Hampton Inn but at Super8 prices. This was our first stay at a Drury Inn (we usually stay at Super8 or other similar hotels). We initially stayed because the price with two dogs was the same as Super8 (which had a per pet per night fee) compared to pets staying FREE at Drury, but... more
I was staying at the very plush Drury Inn in Dayton and called to make a reservation at the sister property in Indianapolis. The woman on the phone was very friendly and worked at getting me a "better rate." And she did. The staff at this hotel are very obliging and pleasant and do a lot to make a stay... more
I recently stayed here for two nights while in Indianapolis on business. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was typical for this type of hotel. The evening snacks and drinks were a nice touch. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, waffles, french toast, plus the normal items like cerealNice lobby area/breakfast area. Outside appearance was nice. Hotel is in between... more
Adequate, but had a huge problem with the breakfast area the next morning: the "hostess" was so busy helping people with the waffle iron that the "buffet" was out of food and silverware and the place was unkempt with trash. When the hostess finally went to refill the food, she was licking her fingers. I didn't go back for refills.... more
We stayed here after reading TripAdvisor reviews and weren't disappointed. The rooms and common areas were clean and the staff was efficient. Freebies like breakfast and evening snacks were a nice extra. We had no complaints--we'll check out other hotels in this chain and hope they're all this nice. more
